Be able to appear offline when you are online. There are certain times we would like to simply check the app or we might want to just talk to specific people.

When someone is offline yet it says they recently viewed you. How many days ago would it be at the most when you say recent ?

Great idea but make it free.

What does someone who has you in their favourites see when you are incognito?9

After some time and a good number of experiences I can surely vote against this feature. It is the negation of a social app itself. This app has a block mode and you can report stalkers even without blocking them. I do not see the benefit of being incognito if you cannot be seen on the grid mode. It is supporting the idea that you want to be the unilateral one to decide. Basically denying anybody, even those who you never talked to, to start a conversation with you. This is a lot. And supports the idea of 'fake' profiles that may hide behind the incognito. Grindr is plagued by fake profiles. The only way to report or acknowledge them is to interact. If they are hiding in the dark is impossible. And unfair for a social app. Again, if you are afraid of stalkers, block them or report them.

appear incognito to a specific/selected user/s would definitely help in cases where you have a user that interacts to the point of annoyance but you don't want to neccessarily block.

Or more importantly, respond to someone to not be rude, and not get others messaging you as if you're online...

This feature would allow friends to send and receive messages without appearing to be "available".

This is a feature that would end my use of your app. I don't use Scruff for this reason.

I like this idea as I have a stalker and when traveling to that city I don’t want him to know I am there.

If you think this is useless, try to look other dating apps. Like HORNET, they have this feature, and and it worked well. No one complain and people still use it. So please make it happen.
