I do not like this option... Scruff has it and it's not cool, I don't want everyone to know if I looked at their profile... I think this is big in seperating Grindr from a lot of the other *** apps... People were doing a big push for this with Facebook and it never happened... for a reason.

Taps are a perfect halfway house. No taps = no interest. Why do you need to know who visited your profile if they are not interested in you? When you go window shopping you don't go into the store to tell the staff you looked in at their window.

This is a stupid idea. I look at EVERYONES profiles, it doesnt mean that im interested in them, all it will do is give some people the hope that because someone viewed their profile that they are interested.

I'm getting sick of "fake" accounts messaging me usually minutes after logging out. They appear to be local but I'm getting the impression they are not bots but Grindr itself. They message you and when you reply, they say something to the effect that they can't see your replies and to "call" them at a phone number. Because they happen daily, it isn't a bot, it's YOU. I'm getting tired of the advertising ********! If you can't stop "fake" people from creating accounts and pulling this **** I may have to look elsewhere for a chat program that isn't full of this kind of ****!

Absolutely not. Profile views are basically involuntary taps and it send a message the other person can choose to interpret however they like. It's an unessesary layer of ambiguity and needless anxiety. Just leave it A4A.

I don't want people to know when I visit their profile. If I visit and want to connect with them, I would reach out and say hello.

But he was the one of the closest profile that satisfied my filter. So each time I’d swipe through my nearby profiles his profile would get a “last visit”....

Clicking on a profile by accident is one thing, but if you see someone that looks at your profile all the time and doesn't say anything, that is creepy. Grow a pair and say hi or stop. I'd say they should be blocked, but after 10 years Grindr still can't code a blocking system that properly functions.
