Terrible idea. I flip Thru every profile sometimes. It means nothing and don’t want users thinking I’m interested when not and then getting more unwanted taps and hi.

This discourages people from actually contacting, thinking you'll notice their visit. Taps are bad enough this is worse

No thanks, too many creeps around I don't want to have visual proof of how often they're stalking my profile. The "tap" feature was already a horrible idea, please don't add another.

This is a TERRIBLE idea. It sounds good when you first think about it, but there is literally NO advantage of being able to see who viewed me. They viewed me and didn't contact me--does that mean they're not interested, so i shouldn't bother contacting them? Or does it mean they ARE intrested and i should contact them? Or does it just mean i picked a profile pic that's eye-catching when you see a little thumbnail of it? Or were they just swiping through profiles and mine was one of them?

If somebody knows that you have viewed them, you're basically tapping them without meaning to. It means you have to to worry about how someone will interpret the fact that you looked at their profile, and you're going to be less likely to look at them, and they're going to be less likely to look at you. If you view someone 2-3 times, etc. you're going to look like a freaking stalker.

Just because this is a popular feature request doesn't mean it's a good idea or that it won't ultimately harm the Grindr community, and some apps that used to have this have disabled it. I wish Scruff would get rid of it.

The ONLY way to implement this idea is if you give every user the ability to disable the feature so that nobody else knows when you viewed them.

No because the basic principal is to remain un seen unless u want to be. Hench the mask icon. U should be able to view a profile without any one knowing.

Not useful. Grindr better promote a more inclusive space. Have you noticed all the “mean girl” or discriminative environment that this app has??
