New Tribes Categories
Hello,
I think you are missing out on a big community of people. The chub and chaser community. I know their are other apps out there but if you could just add chub and chaser to the tribes section you may get a lot more people interested in the app that are from the chub/chaser community. On occasion (as a chubby guy) I get lucky and find a guy who is into chubby guys. But a majority of the time I’m not so lucky. I see you added Bear and that is great but how do you find the people who are into bears and into chubby guys. This should just be an easy addition to the Tribes section. You could even make an announcement to the lgbt community and see how many new/returning clients you could get. I know I have left and come back to Grindr at least 7 times in my lifetime just from being tired of all the hate I would receive. (Recently I haven’t but in the beginning I did.) Please consider the addition of Chub and Chaser to the Tribes section of your app.

I was redirected here after contacting Grindr about how the app just got updated with all these new features, yet didn't include this one. I've been reaching out to Grindr for TEN YEARS about adding this feature, since they include searching for poz and trans people, but not chubs/chasers, and every time I reach out, I get redirected to one of these forums where the voices go unheard. What ACTUALLY has to happen in order for this to get added?

Grindr , because you let everyone have many tribes it has become a reverse search. It especially hurts the trans tribe.
When I search I search trans tribe. it’s IRRITATING WHEN I GET MORE GUYS WHO ALSO WANT TRANS than actually trans. Please at lease add a window explaining “DO NOT CHOOSE TRANS IF you are seeking Trans.” it’s ruined my experience. I like the wind dow of instructions you just added for pronouns.
Please do the same for tribes explaining about trans. PLEASE !!! -

Chub and chaser STILL have not been added to the tribes...it such a simple thing...the other apps have it why doesnt grindr.....thisbhas been raised by me as well as other paying members....whats the issue here?

100%. I'm cis and pan. I'm not CD or transitioning. I'm not part of their tribe, per se, but I'm attracted to them.
On the flip side, searching for them results in people like me me who are looking for them, but not them. -

The body types and “tribes” are too limited to be useful. Body types we need: chubby, curvy, athletic, etc. Tribes: kinky, queer, poly.

Add more key tribes or a new section for lifestyles. As a vegan, I'd love to search "plant-based" for other gay vegans to date. Dating someone who shares that lifestyle/belief system with me would be amazing. The recent "sober" tribe is similar to that, perhaps "religious" would also be a good add for some people.

The trans tribe, as it states, is and should be only for trans people. It is not for cis people seeking trans people or even crossdressers. For crossdressers, it should be it's own category. The trans tribe should be special in a way, because it isn't an "interest" like "geek". Let trans people have their own space in the app to not be infiltrated by cis people.

Bear is far too general a type for those that are chubs and chubby chasers. This would make it easier for everyone to find their niche.

They don't include chubs and chasers into the community because they want us to be as alienated as humanly possible. They think that anyone who supports a fat lifestyle should be treated like they're less than human, which is why they won't include us. The app has been around over 10 years, but they still won't recognize us, yet they promote bug chasers by having a POZ tribe option.

As a paying member why is it so hard to add chub/chaser as a group on here....i have asked multiple times and it has been in the topics because i have seen others ask? This should be as inclusive as possible....what is the problem here...every other app has added it except grindr why?

You should make filters or tribes like chubs and chasers and group *** and ******* and big **** so people can people can find they type easier k stead searching through others that they aint looking for, like if i wanna talk to a chub with ******* i should use the chub filter or chub/chaser filter and type in the tag ******* so all the profile that tag they got a ******* pops up

Would be nice to have an additional preference to have a Dominant / Submissive filter as a tribe or ****** preference. Same with kinks option
