3. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   The most annoying PAIN while on/using the Grindr app is the super persistent ads and pop ups or messages promoting the Boost feature that I have NEVER used nor will I EVER choose to use. I’m subscribed as an unlimited member and part of that decision was to ensure I was not plagued by any sort of ads (I understand an OCCASIONAL message but those pop ups AND consistent adverts on the main grid every few grid columns after scrolling down a certain distance?). Please please please.. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   If not, then at least implement features where we can opt out of that marketing or have an algorithm in place that picks up on the amount of times that a user chooses not to BOOST when advertised to them and then block those adverts to that specific user in all its forms since that user is clearly not interested in that option. Its a win win, the user wins by not being annoyed and Grindr wins because the user is no longer annoyed/frustrated and happier!

4. Auto ad opening

   Remove the feature that auto-opens ads. This feature has proven to be an extremely annoying. I understand having ads allows grindr to be free, but tbh I get more frustrated at the app, than people sending nudes to start a conversation.

5. Fresh profiles section

   Why have you limited the fresh profiles section?! This app is getting worse and worse. Fresh section was a good way to see new profiles and now it's gone. Not everyone can afford paying for your extra plans and the fact that you're pushing people to buy the unlimited or extra plans is ridiculous.

6. Filters selecting profiles for group chat

   Right now, it's nearly impossible to find specific profiles when adding someone to group chat. Standard filter to select on age, type, tribe... Would make this feature usable. I have many favorites, so I often can't add someone to a group chat.

   Oe better yet, allow one to select based on inbox messages.

    Create an option to opt out of Boost ads. The constant ads are annoying! You charge a premium price to be an unlimited subscriber. One of the benefits is sup6to be an ad free experience but you are constantly pushing Boost with ads! Allow an opt out of these ads!

14. Stop ads that automatically open in a new browser tab.

    Over the last few weeks, I've been receiving these ads that would open a browser window automatically. I don't tap on them, they just do this on their own.

    This is annoying because it interferes with texting. I could be in the middle of writing someone a message, then my Firefox Focus app randomly pops up and takes me out of the Grindr app. I have to close it and navigate back to Grindr to continue with what I was writing. And this isn't rare -- I've seen it happen up to three times within a minute. It's obnoxious and distracting.

    These ads may be malicious. From what I can tell, each one of these just has a black background and an Android logo in the top-left corner; no identifying info or brand whatsoever. The behavior of these ads is also extremely sketchy; no good ad should open your browser without the user's input.

    Grindr, please look into this. It's a security risk for your users and it leads to a bad user experience.

15. Reduce the terrible, excessive, constant, annoying, awful ad space

    I get it, nobody wants to pay the excessive monthly fees for borderline basic features but shoving ads down a users throat in every angle of the UI is not the move. Find a better strategy to generate revenue.

    ENOUGH! We get it it! You want people to purchase your overpriced app, but let's get real the pop-up ads? Really? It was bad enough with the ads that popped up when exiting a chat that you grow gray hair from waiting for the ad to allow you to exit, but now I open the app and get redirected, I'm in a message and get redirected. You're totally killing the experience, and maybe more people would buy the app if you weren't so greedy and charging an arm and a leg. You guys are dragging this app through the dirt. 18. End the extremely long mobile game ads.

    These ads are way too long and intrusive. All they do is make me quit the app immediately to get rid of it. Ads should be no longer than 5 secs and it’s the same game ad every damn time. This has to be the most annoying thing about Grindr. I understand the free platform needs ads to support itself but this ruins the user experience and I think there are better ways to handle longer ads. Maybe start them after the splash page and ask if you would like to view one long ad to avoid a series of shorter ads during your use time. If the goal is to get us to pay so we don’t have them, you’ve lost me because I would never give money to a squeeze like this.

    The blocking method is terrible, having to go from profile to profile to block those you are not interested in, still waiting for a message to come out. It should be able to select and block several at once, many people complain about this in the application
