Very good idea. With the amount of fakes, if you decline a video chat you aren't who you say you are, if I'm inviting someone to my home I need to know what they legitimately look like. Also would help with the voice issue...you weren't born sounding like that, I'm not into forced feminine accents from men. Would be nice to know that before I have some high pitched squeal that doesn't sound anything near natural happening.

As toxic as Grindr has become and as horrible as gay men are at honest communication, may I suggest Grindr institute a thumbs up and thumbs down feature instead of a tap.

So if you send somebody a thumbs up and they like your profile, they politely send a thumbs up back and then you know a conversation or picture swapping is warranted. If that person sends you a thumbs down it is an easy way to know they aren’t interested without hurting feelings or escalating into an ugly dialogue after you text them back that you aren’t interested.

This feature would help reduce some of the hate and awkwardness which is bringing this culture to its knees.

It isn’t fun here anymore. It has gotten toxic and ugly. This would help tremendously!
