Desktop/Web Access to Grindr
A way to log into/use your Grindr profile from PC would be nice. Some of the other apps have web versions and it would be especially handy to be able to use Grindr from web browser when your phone is charging or if you lose/break it

Make Grindr available on desktop computer. It would be easier for people to see profile text and photos. You would be able to give better detail in the profile of what the person is. And what that person is looking for in someone. Add good quality video chatting, one-on-one private chatting, group video chatting. Add chatrooms with topics, like alcohol abuse, spousal abuse. Gay men need more support out there for them. Some are afraid to come out to talk to someone. They need to be able to feel safe and express themselves in a positive way to receive help. There are many categories you could add! But all you see now is people trying to hook up.

Temporary workaround would be to download Bluestacks (Android emulator) and download it on there. I'd argue it's even more discreet because you wouldn't have Grindr directly on your desktop.

For a hot minute last week, I had access to a web-based version of the app. You had to scan a QR code that was displayed at web.grindr.com to get access, similar to how Whatsapp on the web or Android Messages for the web works. I tried it and it worked, quirky and buggy as it was. I think it was a limited rollout or being tested because as of today (12/9/19) the option in settings was gone again. Encouraging it's being worked on, though.

Create a version of the app for desktop computers that supports and syncs with the app on your phone similar to telegram messing ideally or failing that WhatsApp desktop app.

It will be great if Grindr can have option to chat through desktop as well, just like whatsapp. Since keeping open Grindr on mobile consumes a lot of battery, so this feature will help to stay connected without battery drainage. It will ease to stay online and give a better user experience.

Unfortunately I'm still in the closet and can't afford to install Grindr on my phone because it's not always private. The only way I can be active on Grindr is via the web browser using Incognito or InPrivate browsing. Please implement Grindr for web, so I can use the app without having to install it on my device.

Grindr team should seriously consider investing in a web version that works on a browser. It would come in handy and it would be great to experience full desktop keyboard experience. Its not very convenient installing android emulators just to use grindr on a pc

Developing a Mac/PC version of Grindr that syncs messages once you sign in could be beneficial to users while their phone charges or would simply like a larger screen in which to chat. Integrated with video chat can make the user experience much better.

Much like WhatsApp Web, it'd be real nice to have Grindr web to reply to the texts fast. Idk how this would line up with the overall UX but still an idea to think about. Can type faster, upload pics better, etc.

You can use Nox Player (Android emulator) on a Windows PC and a fake GPS program to simulate your real GPS and then run Grindr within Nox. Works well on Windows 10.

Please make is possible to sign in and do the same thing you can do on your PC or Mac as your phone. Please tell us, at least, whether this is an option that you are planning for the future.

Come on Grindr invest in the app and give us laptop/PC and not just mobile access - it’s not a new concept- many other dating apps give this option

No need for an APP, just make a web version that will work in either Edge, Safari, Chrome or Firefox or all of them, in standard of incognito version. Would be nice if when you load the web interface it automatically asks the question, do you wish to be in incognito mode.

Is there a version for PCs I can download exclusively for PCs (no mobile). I don't have a smartphone & would like to use grindr exclusively in my desktop with Windows10.
Thanks
