1. Repair this app

   There is a lot to fix in this shitty app.

   1. Make it easier to give feedback, now it is impossible for users without a separate account for this service, and the creation of this account seems like an obstacle course. Do you not want feedback? Or perhaps can not handle it? Sure way to lose your leading position in the market.

   2. Your "moderation" is a joke. This app is full of hookers and hustlers, and reporting them usually just instantly creates perhaps a bot-answer that says there is nothing wrong, and no actions will be taken. The behavior of users here is getting worse, and you seem to not care.

   3. It should not be possible to create another account to the same contact-info if one gets kicked out. A ban of some sort would be required, otherwise the same hookers and hustlers just come back harassing normal users.

   4. It should not be possible to create a profile without ANY pic. A screen full of black boxes is really dull and makes searching just uninviting.

   5. I will never pay for the app that is for sure. No matter how bad you try to make the experience. I will just stop when it comes unbearable. I would not mind ads, but now they work so bad that I am really close to quitting. Why are you so mean, that upcoming ad cuts of a user while writing a message?!

   6. Do not publish untested updates. Every update has created more problems, and usually some of the old ones are not fixed. Could have something to do with the lack of interest on any feedback. You do ask often if I am enjoying using Grindr, but when I answer "no", you do not want to know why. That is just stupid.

   Your basic function is easily copied and improved, but you seem to focus on cashing in - you should be really worried. I for one am looking for a replacement - might delete the account even without any.

3. Creation of the Go Up button in messages

   Every time I go up the messages to see the old messages, and choose one, when I exit the message, I am redirected to the recent messages. Usually when I want to see an old message, among dozens or hundreds, I don't get the one I want the first time, I have to look for it one by one many times, and I can't do that because when I leave a message, I I am redirected to recent messages. They could put the back button at the top like when you scroll down to see the most distant profiles instead of redirecting to the recent ones.

4. Search bar on messages tab

   There is no search for chat option on the messages tab. It' would be really helpful if it's there. I remember it used to be there earlier

7. Price given the app doesn’t function as it should half the time!

   Don’t allow someone to create more than two profiles a year based on IP or Email addresses. This might stop these timewasters / keyboard warriors / fake profile guys from creating a new profile 2 mins after you block them! It really has become the most toxic app around!

8. Bring back the delivered vs sent in messages

   The entire time i’ve used the app for the past half decade they’ve asked for more money for read receipts which is just laughable. You can ask for more money for genuine services that can’t be offer for free anywhere else. Everyone had free read receipts whether they realized it or not. It’s something so small and inconsequential that they’re only holding it back because it’s another thing like Tinder. Where they’ll lock up everything the app is and means to be behind ridiculous prices, expecting people who can barely pay bills (which is most of us), or people who have more important things they need then some shitty gimmicks that are so expensive and that is the ONLY way the app will work. Like come on. Be a human being for two seconds and not a money making machine. Stop profiting off of the suffering of others just because more money means that 17th personal yacht you wanted. We’re trying to make real human connections, even if it’s just anonymous sex, it’s still two people making a good time together. And in your greed and lust for power you decide to strip that away, just for the simple, and stupidest reason. so you can get more money. even though you’re already comfortable. money is to make people comfortable. not to make their lives perfect. more money won’t bring you happiness. it’ll bring momentary joy and satisfaction, then the hole in your chest opens up again and craves more. more money, more things, more. Learn to feed it with real stuff. Human connection. the feeling of doing something right, of being one of the only app developers out there who actually does what the internet was made for, to connect people and create something beautiful, not a money making mill where the product is generated by suffering.

9. Explore not working

   Anytime I use the Explore function, and use a filter, the ppl suggested are hours and 50/100 kms away from the place I am looking for...and it says 'near...'.
   So I use the 3 daily unlock for people far as hell.
   If a free feature works so badly, why should I subscribe a plan ?

11. WHY WONT YOU ACTUALLY FIX THE BUGS

    We shouldnt have to use the feature request to ask you to fix bugs in your app. feature requests are for... well.... NEW FEATURES. And it dont matter how many votes, I mean if there is a a BUG...and its confirmed by 5 people its probably a bug if its confirmed by 10 people ...well...you already know its a bug. Ive been a software engineer for 17 years, and Ive never seen anything like this...And dont get me started on the web client. How do your supervisors let this stuff get pushed to production. And why is it so hard for you to listen to the users of the app? And let me laugh at the new pricing models. Are you serious? 40 bucks a month? 80 bucks a year was already way too high, for the simple fact that there were so many quirks and bugs like the "deselecting pictures while scrolling". why should we pay 80 a year to a software provider that wont even fix such a blatant bug? Its lazy, and it reflects on your app, and it lets your users know that you have no concern for their user experience. Youre just in it for the money. #GreedyGrindr.

12. Facebook login not working. Paid subscription through that profile that I will cancel since I cannot access that profile any longer.

    Charging for chats is a bad idea, users will leave in droves, trust.

13. Reduce text on profile preview

    When you open the app, you see pics of guys around. But in French language, you see « Il y a 3 h » and « À une distance de 5 km ». It’s too long! Only « 3h » and « 5 km », all users know it is the last connection and distance 😊

16. Unlimited shared albums

    When I share multiple albums, an unpaid user can only see one album. This is not communicated to the sharing party. Many do not realize this is a barrier for unpaid users. It is needlessly cheap of grindr to prevent a user from seeing media directly shared by another user. Just let people see what is sent to them without adding a paywall on everything

18. Buggy and glitchy

    When scrolling through chats, when you come back out of a chat into the chat list, the app glitches and randomly moves you up or down the list, so you lose your place! Very annoying!
