Request reason or be messaged a reason for profile picture being denied
If your profile picture is denied you should be able to ask what the reason was or someone should message you and tell you why. I tried to post a photo laying down with no nudity just shirtless but was told it was against guidelines...was it because I don't have 6 pack abs? I know a lot of the guys on the app discriminate against none fit guys but I guess the people running the app discriminate against them too

Improve User Safety: Reintroduce Full Block and Enhanced Privacy Settings
Hi Grindr Team,
I appreciate your recent updates, but I think it’s time to focus more on user safety. While “Hide” is a nice feature, it doesn’t replace the That's Not My Neighbor essential protection that a true block system provides.Could you consider bringing back a comprehensive block feature — one that permanently prevents contact and visibility from blocked users, even across new accounts?
Also, adding custom privacy options (like selective profile visibility and region-based filtering) could make the app feel safer and more user-friendly.
What do you all think — would these changes improve your experience too?

Ci sono metodi per impedirlo bloccate gli imeo dei telefoni che non possano avere più di un profilo attivo e impedite pure di ricrearne di nuovi se non passano almeno 48 ore dalla cancellazione del precedente . Chiedete una verifica su numero telefonica facendo associare non più di un dispositivo . Trovare un modo è vitale anche per voi e dovete inserire una icona che dice che l utente che sposta la propria posizione…

U guys know how to victimize one after complaining. It's fucking sad that as app administrators u'r very childish. I upload pics and u simple just remove then coz I complained about ur inconsistency and how u'r fucking up the app. I seriously wish this fucking app got blocked in SA and that we get 1 just for south africans. U show ur prejudice by allowing white guys to post whatever they want. When black people post u have to follow the law. Interesting

5 minutes ad-free for each spambot reported
Spambots are killing grindr. I try to do my part by reporting them, but each time I open a bot-profile to report it, it costs me having to watch a stupid ad. So honestly, I've been doing it less and less.
Now a simple solution I suggest: if I report successfully a bot, give me ad-free time, at least to compensate for the ad I had to suffer to simply do the moderation for you.

I'm writing to report a significant issue with the app's user experience. Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in what appear to be fake profiles and accounts from OnlyFans members. This is significantly impacting the app's usability and the quality of interactions.Additionally, I've observed a surprising number of ladies profiles I was under the impression that this app is intended for I assume mostly gay men ? , so this seems to be a or an issue with the matching algorithm or are they fake profiles as well ?…

Ice emoji and meth usage
Ban the use of slang for meth, like ice and ice cubes emoji. Drug usage shouldn't be promoted on any profile. What people do in private is one thing but these profiles are public.

Spam is out of control it is ruining my experience an everyone want me to join them on social media and buy their only fans they are no where near me one guy admitted he was in buffalo. 50% of my board are no where near me you have destroyed the app

Sexuality preference selector
In the user's profile, we should be able to select "gay, straight, bi, etc." And then only be shown profiles of people who match what we're looking for, while also only showing up for those people. I'm a gay man, on a gay dating app, and I'm sick of getting messages from women. Make grindr gay again (trump is bad and gross, I'm just stealing his slogan)

Filters Education, Uniform- also searching

You could add an option for Xtra users to filter people by education and occupation, as many people like that.
Also by uniform as a fetish.
This would mean that everyone would have to include their education and occupation in their profile.

Adding new people if you have blocked the old ones
Once you have blocked someone off your free grid area, it should be replaced with new people rather than saying “X people blocked”.

Non disclosure
Instead of just accusing users of advertising and solicitation, maybe quote where such user has dine so. User may have unwillingly made this error yet get threatened with banning of account. Maybe you should just ban everyone with no proof. This app is losing momentum. Specially with all these unsolicited adverts which is a complete irritation. Grindr needs to get with the times and take that carrot out its backside

Actually respond to support tickets
Not only are the core functions of the app that were once free now locked behind a paywall, there is a complete lack of customer service and fair moderation. For some reason that has still not been made known to me by the team, I have been banned because someone else hacked my account and is catfishing using my album. This has been confirmed by my friends. This is a complete violation of my privacy that is clearly not being taken seriously by the team as my appeal has been ignored by weeks, nor can I even find a way…
