1. Bring back distance from pin in “Explore”

   Showing your current distance to profiles instead of distance from the Explore pin is dumb. Yeah I know I’m in Explore so I’m expecting the profiles to be far. Why show the distance in profiles unless it’s from the pin? Seriously considering not using this app after all these harmful feature/ui changes. Certainly not worth the money anymore either.

   Now you're charging even to watch taps. Suddenly, the entire app is going to become a paid app. What good is all that money if you never manage to completely fix Grindr? First, it's a hub for abuse; you indirectly promote hate, violence, and abuse. What do you want the money for? To continue funding your addictive and destructive business? I'll definitely stop using Grindr, not because I want it to change, but because it seems like you're funding hate.

   Taps should not be blurred. They weren’t before and that was great. You can really tell that 2025 has become the year of capitalism for Grindr. I get ads every single time I open the app, atleast 3 in my inbox every single time I refresh, and suddenly so many free features are hidden behind a paywall. This app is going to shit just like the United States is. Do better.

14. Subscribed filter/badge

    It would be great to see other users who have paid for Xtra/Unlimited versus free profiles. I’d suggest adding a badge on paid profiles, and even filtering out profiles that are not subscribed. Having this badge/filter would allow other paid users to connect with folks who have stronger intentions to use Grindr to communicate versus folks that are just checking things out on the free plan.
