    No one will truly know when a person is online because of the stealth function many of the users on the platform already have.
    The idea is moot.

    The Grindr app is not a lesbian-based virtual community or an app for female gays or homosexual women! No females/ladies/girls/women shouldn't be given access to the forums, nor be a part of the Grindr site or have access to its forums. The Grindr app and service were designed for MALES (MEN / GUYS), not FEMALES (WOMEN / LADIES), and so on. This site has led to compromised privacy and life upheaval for several male users, who are GRINDR's intended audience. Similarly, GRINDR's changes have created a new distrust amongst the platforms' primary and original user bases. Male users (e.g., men/guys) have been publicly outed by female counterparts who have infiltrated the site and compromised their privacy. The site has been publicized, so the straight community knows about the site besides functionality and location.

    Notably, even the site's distinctive sound alert has been publicized, resulting in negative consequences for site users. With proper vetting mechanisms, criticism could have avoided such public scrutiny. Vetting has lapsed and become increasingly problematic for long-time users and now even paying customers due to the increased number of 'non-males' in the Grindr community. Grindr's male-only, private, confidential, functional, and easy-to-use site and app have all been broken, which has hurt the community's trust for years. Like other apps and virtual spaces, Grindr is a community of like-minded males. We act in a way that suggests we have a strong passion for men and similar sexual preferences to other men (for example, "Male Homosexuality").

    The site, its userbases, and its original audience were created by male gay community developers to create a one-of-a-kind community of MEN who are socially and sexually attracted to other MEN [GUYS] sexually to communicate in a safe space and seek each other out if the occasion called for it, emotionally, physically, and so on.

    Foremost, this app should only be used by adult males (guys).
