2. Viewed Me Feature needs unlocked on Xtra

If i, like many other users are going to pay for an Ad-Free Xtra experience and NOT the overpriced Unlimited, we would expect to be able to see the profile of (at the very least) the last 3-5 people that viewed our profile and also be able to click through to them. Currently you have to squint very hard to make out the shape and then go hunting for them in the main feed to be able to view who it is.. if we are paying to see and meet people.. 6. REMOVE THIS DAMN GRUNTING Noise

I don’t know what Product Owner/Manager thought this stupid grunting noise up but they should be fired immediately. It’s just not needed. How about you fix it so when someone taps you, you get a damn tap noise again not this stupid garbage that you say you can shutoff but I only see a choice for all sound and I don’t want to shut off all sound. As a Product Manager myself, I know the end user doesn’t want this garbage, especially when they pay $140 a year for it. Either remove it, or come up with a way to just shut that damn, vulgar, gross noise off by itself.

9. Make the app less expensive

Absolutely unaffordable in my country. It's the price of a mini fridge. Was a good app before, but not worth paying if you can only see 6 or less people from your area. Please fix this, rather increase the restrictions on the filters as you had in the past and have more people instead...because at this point, it isn't a social dating platform.

12. How Much Does a Golden Visa Cost in 2026?

The cost of a Golden Visa in Dubai depends on the applicant's eligibility category, whether they are applying from inside or outside the UAE, and the services included in the application.

For 2026, applicants should generally budget several thousand dirhams for the visa and related government procedures. The exact amount can increase when medical testing, Emirates ID, status change, insurance, service-centre charges, or professional assistance are included.

It is also important to understand that the visa fee is separate from any investment or financial requirement used to qualify for the Golden visa dubai.

How Much Does a Golden Visa Cost in Dubai?

The basic government charges vary depending on the application.

For Dubai, GDRFA lists a residence permit fee of AED 1,100, with additional charges such as Knowledge Dirham, Innovation Dirham, delivery, and an AED 500 fee when the applicant is inside the UAE. The final amount can therefore be higher than the basic residence permit fee.

For a complete application, applicants may need to budget approximately AED 4,000 to AED 10,000 or more depending on their category and circumstances.

What Is Included in the Golden Visa Cost?

The total cost can include several different charges.

These may include the Golden Visa application and residence permit, Emirates ID, medical fitness examination, status change if applying from inside the UAE, service-centre or typing charges, and other applicable government fees.

Health insurance may also be required depending on the applicant's circumstances.

This is why the advertised visa fee should not always be considered the complete cost.

Does the Golden Visa Require a Separate Investment?

    For certain investor categories, yes.

The investment requirement is different from the government fee paid for the visa application.

For example, qualifying investors may need to meet a minimum investment threshold depending on their category. Real estate investors generally need qualifying property with a value of at least AED 2 million.

The investment itself is not a visa fee. It is the financial qualification used to become eligible for the relevant Golden Visa category.

How Much Does a Property Investor Golden Visa Cost?

A property investor must first meet the applicable property eligibility requirements.

The qualifying property value is generally at least AED 2 million.

After meeting the eligibility requirement, the applicant still needs to pay the applicable residence, medical, Emirates ID, and other processing charges.

Therefore, the AED 2 million property requirement should not be confused with the cost of applying for the Golden Visa.

How Much Does a Professional Golden Visa Cost?

Professionals may qualify for a Golden Visa if they meet the requirements of the relevant professional category.

The application cost can include residence permit charges, Emirates ID, medical examination, and other applicable government or service fees.

Unlike the property investor route, this category does not necessarily require a AED 2 million investment. Eligibility depends on the applicant's profession, salary, qualifications, and other applicable conditions.

How Much Does an Entrepreneur Golden Visa Cost?

Entrepreneurs may qualify under the relevant Golden Visa category if their business or project meets the required conditions.

The cost of the residence application itself is separate from the value or investment associated with the qualifying business or project.

Applicants should therefore calculate both the qualification requirements and the actual visa processing expenses.

Does Applying From Inside Dubai Cost More?

    It can.

Applicants already inside the UAE may have an additional inside-country fee and may also need a status-change procedure depending on their current visa status.

Someone applying from outside the UAE can have a different cost structure.

The final amount therefore depends partly on where the applicant is located when applying.

    Does Emirates ID Cost Extra?

    Yes.

The Emirates ID is generally a separate part of the residence process and its cost depends on the validity period and applicable requirements.

When calculating your total Golden Visa budget, include the Emirates ID cost rather than looking only at the residence permit fee.

    Is the Medical Test Included?

The medical fitness examination is generally a separate cost.

Applicants who are required to complete the medical examination should include this expense when calculating the total application budget.

The exact medical fee can vary depending on the centre and service selected.

    Are Family Members Included?

    Not automatically.

Golden Visa holders can have options to sponsor eligible family members, but each family member may have separate residence, Emirates ID, medical, and processing costs.

If you plan to sponsor your spouse or children, you should calculate their expenses separately from the primary applicant's Golden Visa cost.

How Can You Reduce Golden Visa Costs?

The best approach is to understand your eligibility category before starting the application.

Choosing the correct route can help you avoid unnecessary applications, document expenses, or additional procedures.

You should also request a complete quotation that separates government fees, medical costs, Emirates ID charges, service fees, and any professional assistance.

    How Takween Advisory Can Help

Applying for a Golden Visa can involve several documents and procedures, particularly for investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Takween Advisory can help applicants understand the applicable eligibility category, prepare documents, coordinate the application process, and manage related residence procedures.

The team can also help applicants understand the expected costs before beginning the process.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Golden Visa cost in 2026?

The total cost depends on the category and circumstances. A practical budget can range from around AED 4,000 to AED 10,000 or more when different government and processing expenses are included.

Is the AED 2 million investment the cost of the Golden Visa?

No. The AED 2 million amount is a qualifying investment threshold for certain investor categories. The visa and residence processing fees are separate.

How much does a property investor Golden Visa cost?

The applicant generally needs to meet the AED 2 million qualifying property requirement and separately pay the applicable visa, Emirates ID, medical, and processing charges.

Does applying from inside the UAE cost more?

It can. Applicants inside the UAE may have additional fees associated with the inside-country application or status change.

    Is the medical examination included?

Usually, the medical examination is a separate expense.

Does the Golden Visa fee include Emirates ID?

Emirates ID costs can be separate from the residence permit charges.

Do family members require additional fees?

Yes. Each sponsored family member can have separate residence, Emirates ID, medical, and processing expenses.

Can Takween Advisory help with a Golden Visa application?

Yes. Takween Advisory can assist eligible applicants with understanding their Golden Visa options, preparing documents, and coordinating the application process.

    Final Thoughts

The cost of a Golden Visa in 2026 depends on the applicant's category and individual circumstances. Government residence fees are only one part of the total expense, with medical testing, Emirates ID, status change, service charges, and other costs potentially adding to the final amount.

Applicants should also remember that qualifying investments, such as the AED 2 million property requirement for eligible investors, are separate from the actual visa processing fees.

Before applying for a Golden Visa Dubai, it is important to identify the correct eligibility category and calculate the complete cost rather than relying on a single advertised fee.

16. Unlimited should be UNLIMITED!!!! XTRA/UNLIMITED should be worth the membership cost

Unlimited memberships should be just that, UNLIMITED... We should have unlimited free use of the "Right Now" and the "Boost" features. We pay way too much for unlimited as it is. Its called unlimited, all the features should be included at NO ADDITIONAL COST/CHARGE. XTRA membership should also come with some additional free usage over what non paid memberships may receive. Make the paid memberships worth what we are paying for them.

17. User Experience Decline Driven by Inadequate Spam Controls

I am a paying customer, and the current user experience is being degraded by an excessive volume of fake and spam accounts. At this point, I spend more time blocking profiles than engaging with legitimate users. This is not an acceptable experience for a paid platform.

The lack of effective spam detection and enforcement is a core failure. Existing controls are either insufficient or not being applied at a meaningful level. This directly undermines user trust and the perceived value of the subscription.

There are also clear gaps in product functionality:

    • Filtering: Users need more precise filtering capabilities, including the ability to search by specific physical attributes (e.g., chest/pecs) rather than broad or vague categories.
    • Photos and albums: Profile photos are inconsistent in quality and often misleading. Stronger standards, improved album functionality, and optional verification would significantly improve credibility.
    • Profile tagging: Optional structured tags (e.g., interests, lifestyle, or values) would allow for more efficient and intentional matching.

The current state of the platform feels cluttered, inefficient, and poorly moderated. For a paid service, this reflects a misalignment between cost and delivered value.

Addressing spam control and improving filtering and profile quality should be treated as product priorities.
