“Local Legends” & Community Highlight Stories Concept
Its either naughty stories or real life changing stories that people could find inspirational.
A rotating, user-contributed section that celebrates positive local moments, helpful people, or wholesome interactions — curated lightly by the community and moderators.
How it works
• Users can anonymously or openly nominate a short story (“Someone helped me when I locked myself out”, “Had the funniest chat of the week”, “Great recommendation for a quiet café”).
• Stories appear in a dedicated “Local” tab with light moderation.
• The featured people (if they consent) can get a temporary, optional “Local Legend” badge on their profile for…1 vote -
Stop ads for Freddie and Woodwork etc in xtra paying accounts!
I pay for Xtra so I DO NOT SEE ADS and yet you’re often interrupting me with Freddie and Woodwork and other ads. STOP! This is against your OWN TERMS of the Xtra account which says “No ads”. Do you need us to report this to the Feds or will you take care of this ASAP!

free
Make sure Grindr offers a free month option so we can experience what it's like to have Grindr as a Premium member, which would significantly increase subscriptions.

XTRA/Unlimited Hiding/Blocking Multiple Profiles at Once
While on the grid, a highest Grindr paying tier (XTRA/Unlimited) user can select multiple profiles on the grid then press a button to hide/block all the selected profiles at once (instead of having to enter into each individual profile to be able to block/hide) so that the grid can be clear of the multiple escort profiles, scam profiles, drug selling profiles, etc.
This would be another premium feature worth paying for as currently having to go into each individual profile to hide/block is time consuming as the multiple escort profiles, scam profiles, drug selling profiles, etc keep being recreated.

Include Roaming in UNLIMITED Plan!
Unlimited is already expensive, but the "Unlimited" plan is highly limited if I have to pay another $10 an hour just to roam! Either stop calling the plan "unlimited" or be true to your word and include it in the unlimited plan!

Stop Banning Legitimate Accounts
I’m a 66-year-old man traveling in Italy and my account was banned by an automated bot for “suspicious activity” - I verified my identity and proved I was real. Grindr support verified that I had “not violated any community guidelines”, yet, we’re on day 8 of me not being able to access my account, my date, my photos, my contacts, and Grindr is in violation of multiple regulations. Silence. Still shut out. And the scammers, just create new accounts and continue harassing those trying to make connections. I have a Grindr Xtra subscription valid until December 2026. Grindr, restore access…

For you
So now Grindr takes user activity to determine high interest profile, stick them in For You, essentially limiting access to nearby individuals who could be a good match and moving them behind a paywall at Grindr’s own discretion. This and the insane subscription prices.

Why would you remove the search bar? It should be optional or something. You need it.

My account not working
Dear Grindr Support Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am writing to respectfully request an urgent review of my account. I have already contacted support and was informed that I would receive a response, but I have not heard back yet.
I have been a Grindr user for a long time, and I am unsure why I can no longer access my account. I do not know whether my account was reported, suspended, or blocked by mistake. My account contains many important contacts and friends, and losing access has caused me significant inconvenience.
I kindly ask your team…1 vote -
Grindr Should Be Free
I think Grindr Should be free or at least remove xtra & keep unlimited with a discounted price every month & add more features if you pay for unlimited. The features would include Ethnicity, Gender Hairyness, Hair Color, Max Distance Limit, Penis Size, DL guys in the areas you’re searching in, Sex practice (safe only or bareback only) & Fetishes. That way Grindr will have more users paying for it & Grindr can make a lot more money.

Give Paying Subscribers Tiered discounts on features!
I’m an Unlimited Member (which is not cheap I might add) and having to pay (at all) or full price to use the Boost, Right Now and Roam features is unjustified. Offering these features as a complimentary or discounted add-on to the subscriber tiers would significantly increase the value of subscribing to Grindr.
