I keep getting unwanted charges on my credit card
Grindr continues to charge my credit card weekly for upgrades I haven’t ordered. Prices are extremely high, to the point of hundreds per month and the system doesn’t show any history of membership packages purchased

Many times I post to a user but they don't get the message until I am no longer in that area.

Hey! You doubled the costs of extra and unlimited. Xtra is crap, useless. Are you kidding? I paid 190 dollars for only 5 ephemeral photos, and it's important to show only a few users who have seen you. what a disappointment!!!!!!!!!! I'm starting to hate grindr

Pass a Credit or Refund until Bugs are fixed
Your app is buggy as fuck. Why am I paying to do your alpha testing - to fucking test stuff that ALWAYS WORKED!! Your developers are inept! Hire people from Scruff - they’ve got it right!
Pass a retrospective credit until you have fixed:
- Read receipts: what’s the point of a RR only when they reply - you morons!!
- Message notifications arrive hours if not days after the message has been received - and read!
- Messages appear read, when they haven’t been.
- “Message not sent” appears regularly. App must be hard reset to continue sending the message.
- Messages take ages…

People were already pretty turned off by taps. More often than not, I saw profiles where people said they ignored them or would specifically block you if you tapped them. Now that you put them behind a paywall, you made them completely pointless. Now No one will have to waste space on their profiles, claiming that they hate taps. Please do the same thing to chats. Leave a gaping hole for another app to swoop in and claim your audience.

All the limitations
Dont get me wrong, I'm not stupid. An app needs development, which needs money. But to actually now start limiting MORE after those years? Very stupid meausures honestly. Tinder has done more for my gay self than grindr has in 6 years. How sad is that considering they took over your concept?
Also I'm bringing this realistically, right. I'm not going to stop using the app. Am I using it way, Way, WAY less though? Yes.2 votes -
Stop sponsored emails for paying users.
I pay for unlimited. And at that price, why am I being bombarded with ads in my messages that are labeled deceitfully as “sponsored”?

Scrap Xtra, introduce Ad-Free Basic subscription & lower prices
Recently Grindr deprecated the Viewed Me feature available in Xtra without any prior notice. This needs to be restored as Xtra is just not worth having without it.
Grindr is now purely a money grab as the free app is so badly hobbled by adverts that you can't escape from, so you try to force your customers to pay for Unlimited. Not on!
Reduce the price of both Xtra & Unlimited and more users would sign up.
I actually think Xtra should be removed altogether and have an Ad-Free Basic subscription and Unlimited only but at significantly REDUCED costs (UK…76 votes -

Subscriptions not 'upgrade-able'
I didn't realize that there were 2 subscription levels. I intended to subscribe for the Unlimited, but not knowing that there were 2 options, paid the first pop up, which was the $20 Extra level. There's no way to upgrade by paying the difference, and I'm not cool with paying another $40, totaling $60, for the redundancy that this would create. There's no work around. Grinder is useless when it comes to contact customer service for help with this, or presumably anything else, and it has left a bad taste that with as expensive as the subscriptions are, Grinder can't…

Being able to send videos through chat
It would be nice to be able to send videos through chat. Most of the videos that many people would like to share are probably traveling, cooking, hiking, nature, vacation, pet, sports videos. The list goes on, it doesn’t have to be inappropriate videos that we share.

Melhoria nos álbuns
Os álbuns poderiam ter a opção de selecionar a foto que deseja que seja compartilhada / visualizada em cada conversa. Exemplo o usuário x ao iniciar a conversa com o usuário y poderia antes de clicar em compartilhar o álbum, selecionar quais as fotos de dentro do álbum o usuário y poderá visualizar. Na prática o usuário x criaria um único álbum com todas as suas fotos, e faria a moderação de quais as fotos sejam visíveis dentro de cada conversa, tornando mais prático o compartilhamento de fotos.
