“Nude Zone” Area Exclusive to XTRA/Unlimited Subscribers
I would like to suggest the creation of an exclusive area on Grindr, accessible only to XTRA or Unlimited subscribers, where users can openly share fully nude photos (including genitals, buttocks, and exposed body). This area would function as a separate space within the app, similar to a virtual “gay sauna.”
In this area, users would be able to freely view profiles and the photos shared, without needing to request or unlock albums manually through the chat. Access would require agreeing to specific terms, ensuring that everyone understands the purpose and rules of the space.

They keep withdrawing services
It used to be that one could see who viewed you. No more.
I have XTRA membership valid one year. Now they’ve added a new feature “For you” where I cannot often communicate with these people even though 2 km from my house.
Like WTF. They want you to spend $50 a month for unlimited to contact them.
It’s criminal to withdraw services after you’ve paid for them.

Not being able to see who checked me out without upgrading to better plan
When someone checks me out I should be able to see their profile name and picture and distance from my location without having to upgrade to the extra premium plan but if would like to connect with them and talk or more than maybe have me upgrade to initiate a conversation or see more personal info in their bio and profile

Don't Squeeze Out The Free Tier Users
I say this as a paid user - don't alienate your free tier users by removing more and more functionality. What makes an app like Grindr worth using is having a lot of other users to interact with. It seems you're putting more and more functionality behind a paywall. Many users can't or won't pay for the service, and if it becomes "unusable" to them, they'll stop using it entirely. They'll go elsewhere. And then, with fewer people on the service, it won't be worth it to the rest of us to keep paying for it, so we'll leave too.…

Stop notifications for viewed me
The new annoying “viewed me” notification at the bottom of the app. No one cares unless it’s a tap. Please remove this asap. Such a timewaster!

Charge to unlock a profile
What if you charge a small fee to unlock profiles? After you’re 1 daily free unlock, give an option to pay maybe $0.99 to unlock a profile. I feel like people wouldn’t pay the monthly membership but would certainly pay a $1 to unlock a profile. Just a suggestion.

Stop charging ridiculous subscription fee
Nothing but druggie upon druggies. Probably have diseases you guys charge ridiculous fees, but how are you even protecting your customers health. you guys act like you guys are doing some kind of medical screening or putting things in place so that people aren't spreading their nasty diseases around so the people that don't pay for the subscriptions get limited on who they can talk to but for my experiences, you're just paying to talk to druggies. For the price that you guys charge you would think that you guys would care about peoples health more so than you care…

Do I have to sell my kidney?
Grindr’s out here acting like it’s the Versace of dating apps when it’s barely giving Walmart clearance rack energy. You can’t even scroll past 2 miles without that little red dot popping up like, “Oh, you thought? Pay for XTRA.” And don’t get me started on the profiles—you click a few, and suddenly they’re all locked behind that upgrade wall, practically yelling, “Cash only, babe.”
And let’s talk about those subscription prices. XTRA is $19.99 a month, and Unlimited’s pushing $24.99 like they’re offering fine dining when all you’re getting is the dating app equivalent of fast food. What do…

Face Photo Filter!!! (It’s *not* been completed)
Since we pay crazy annual fees on unlimited, there honestly should be a way to prevent faceless profiles from messaging us if we desire. The app is getting unusable and full of spam/website link senders/ people from miles away sending stuff without a face picture.
It could be a simple fix like only allowing profiles with face pictures to message us, and if a profile is faceless, only allowing them to write a message after sending a form of media .
Please, make the app usable, at least for your highest paying members. It would be a revenue maintaining/boosting idea…

Location
I have Subscription for Grindr Xtra and it's is currently active. But I am unable to use any of the filters in the app and also I am getting a error alert in the app when I try to refresh the app, it says "The app is unable to determine my location" I am tired of this pathetic service.
