2. Marker on grid for existing conversation with users

   Would be great to have some kind of marker that would let you know if you have an actual conversation history with the specific user so instead of having to click on the profile than dig for a conversation. It will be obvious that there’s an issue with a specific user something like the blue halo but maybe green or another colour

4. Specific Gender/ sexuality Personalization filters

   As a gay app primarily for gay men there needs to be an option to allow users to filter or hide trans men/ trans women profiles and also a filter for trans women or men to filter gay users. Just the same or see only trans interested specific users of based off their personal interests. These tiles are considered valuable Realestate to those of us who are paying 40$/month. As a gay man to find other gay men not women. Women should simply not be showing up on my profile if we are not even interested in women or trans. And if trans are interested in men who are interested in trans they should be able to see those specific men. As I’m sure trans women are not interested in gay men whatsoever. There should be more options to personalize each users personal experience or preferences based on their own sexuality, gender, kinks etc. By not including such an option or filter Grindr is excluding gender or sexuality specific users from being able to create their own experiences based on who they are individually. If you are going to charge 40$ a month for unlimited the app needs to cater to the individuals who are paying this amount otherwise you are going to start losing a lot of users!

5. Allow users to tap on profiles when viewing shared albums

   Previously, when viewing photo albums that other users shared with me, I could access the original profile of each user by clicking the top left icon within the album view. This feature seems to have been removed. Highly recommend bringing it back - it was very useful being able to go back to the original user profiles when viewing album pictures.

They will gladly pay, this is a common expense for any entity executing that sort of operation. And they will pay even if it seems exorbitant. If you still want to include ads, make them only show when the app is first opened or in very small and unobtrusive ways.

    Grindr doesn’t need to be so feature-laden, nor does it need to be political. It can just be free and work well and simply. AND it can still be profitable.
