I woke up this morning to a notification from Grindr asking to allow information collection for Ai. EVERYTHING about this idea seems exceptionally problematic. For a site that's sole purpose is for the communication and connection of REAL people to people why and or what does Grinder want with any interest in Ai. Sure maybe for ad bot making, I get it, I'm mostly a free member too and circumventing ad bots is the price I pay for being too cheap to pay for the app full time, and I personally love Ai as a tool for my favorite porn site to pre select videos geared towards my interests, but on a web site that is for and about Human conversations and connecting, I'm truly shocked at the audacity of the site to want to collect my personal conversation data, and even more so offer to pata phrase it and summarize for what ever uses even if it is for my own proposed benefits. I want, whatever I haven't deleted from my apps history and past conversations to remain exactly as they have transpired in a totally unedited history, ( that's why I didn't delete them yet). I mean I'm great full and still have trust for this company for being creditable enough to post and notify me, as well as give the option to opt out, but with all reason this has to be one of the most alarming and perpetual poor choices I've seen in a quite some time. Seriously Grinder What the What? 🤷‍♂️😆😁😆🤷‍♂️.
