Something that Grindr lacks is the real life element of knowing/seeing that someone is actively engaged in conversation with another individual. As a premium paid feature on xtra my idea is that you could see that someone is “green” active but actively in a chat with someone else.

Presently when you’re in the app you get a buzz on your phone but new message notifications don’t drop on the top of your phone. Maybe someone more your type or who wants to flirt harder with you might catch your eye just like in real life. Like the guy who you glance eyes with from across the bar or when you’re on an ok date but mister right happens to give you that piercing glare.
