¿Alguien más prefiere los foros clásicos a las redes sociales?
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like old survival forums are still one of the best places to learn practical outdoor skills. Social media is great for quick videos and photos, but most posts disappear fast and real discussions rarely last long.
On forums, people usually explain things in more detail. Whether it’s shelter building, fire starting, gear repairs, or long camping trips, you can often find years of useful experiences in a single thread. I’ve learned more from reading old survival discussions than from watching short clips online.
While browsing different websites recently, I also came across https://gold-spins.net/ while comparing how different online platforms are designed today. It made me realize how much the internet has changed compared to older community-based forums where conversations stayed useful for years.
I still think forums have something social media can’t really replace: detailed knowledge shared by people who actually spend time outdoors.
Do you still use forums regularly for survival information, or do you mostly rely on YouTube and social media now?
