Grindr has been taken over by bots, and legitimate users report having their accounts banned and unable to restore access. This is not customer service. My paid subscription to Grindr Xtra is inaccessible to me now because a bot didn’t like that I was using Grindr while traveling. But I know the fake trans-women, fake princes from Dubai, fake guys with studio quality pics of them and their dogs, fake sugar daddies, are still out there, bothering legitimate users. Come on Grindr - do better! I signed up for Daddy Hunt, was asked to send a selfie to match my profile pic. Easy verification. Done. Make users verify their identity, you’ll shut out the bots and scammers and give legitimate users a way to verify themselves. Or do you profit from all of these bots? Makes me wonder…
