solo setup for big tents
Is it possible for one person to set up a large 6-8 person tent alone? My partner has a bad back so I end up doing all the work. I want a big tent for comfort but I am worried I won't be able to pitch it by myself. Are there any systems that make this easier for a solo camper?

Yes, it is totally possible if you go with an inflatable system. I go solo sometimes with my big tent and have no issues. With Coody camping gear, you just lay it flat, stake the corners, and attach the pump. You don't have to thread long poles or lift heavy structures over your head.
