Feature Suggestion: Face Exchange
One issue I often experience (and I think many others do as well) is that when people are discreet or downlow, they ask for a face picture, but after I send mine, they sometimes don’t reciprocate even though they agreed to swap.
This creates an uneven and sometimes frustrating experience — especially in smaller communities (like where I live in small-town New Zealand), where being open on your profile isn’t always possible, and engagement is higher when you start with a blank profile.
Proposed Solution:
A feature called Face Exchange.
• Each person uploads a face photo into the chat.
• The app holds both images until both people have submitted.
• Once both have uploaded, the images are revealed to each user at the same time.
• If only one uploads, nothing is shown, protecting both sides from being ghosted after revealing their face.
This would make photo swapping more fair, respectful, and safer, while still giving users control over what they share.

Problem is how do you stop someone from uploading something that isn't their face just to get past the exchange
