Boost goes against the entire premise behind Grindr! To engage with local guys by knowing an approximate distance away. Just because you paid $20 an hour to Boost your profile doesn't mean I'm going to drive 30 miles to meet you!
If nothing else, put an overlay color on the Boost user's grid square!
Look, i get that Grindr wants to make money. And paying for a subscription is cheaper than buying a guy a drink. But BETA TEST before you roll out to get impressions and feedback! Not all of your app improvements are actual improvements (for example, removing the favorites tab & Boost... especially since "explore" does the same thing without putting the person's profile on my grid!)
If you really want to make some money, Start a new app called "Grindher" to cater to all of the straight women, Trans, and straight guys that want to meet straight woman & trans so i can go back to blocking the weirdos and stalkers rather than all of the woman, trans, and straight guys looking for TS that now occupy a large portion of the grindr grid.
