I’m happy that Grindr is an app that the entire queer community can use. But at the same time it clutters the app because I am not able to filter out the people who are looking for trans. Or the people who are MtF. I am not trans and I am not looking for someone who identifies as a female. This is not a transphobia issue. By forcing everyone to say that they are looking for and what group best describes them would make Grindr a much easier app to find people. Plus this information doesn’t need to be posted for others to see.
