To avoid fake account, Grindr team should work on Verification at the beginning of opening new account time. And verified photo and private album picture should be matched. They can upload anything in their profile. However, If Private album photo and the verified person who opened account first time must be matched. If not matched, consider as a fake account and should be Ban.

They can upload profile picture anything because i understand that some people do not want to let their friends and family known about that they are using the app. So, they can only know unless if they chat and exchange picture.

And other picture that they want to send for example their exchange other social media application's QR code or money or any other pic should allow to send normal message. Except from their verification face photo. Their real photo should only be in the private album and only allow them to send via private album. So, if they can send private album with human picture, that mean we can assume that this person is real because Grindr didn't ban this account.
