Mark as not mutually interested
Isn’t it exhausting and time-consuming to text someone new only to realise you’ve spoken before and there was no mutual interest? Sometimes, Grinder can feel like a waste of valuable time and we end up not using it at all.
Introducing an option to mark profiles that allow users to remember if there was no mutual interest could:
- prevent users having to block one another; this was not the original purpose of the block feature.
- prevent users having to store conversations to remember; conversations which are often lost, take up storage or cause the app to glitch.
- prevent users wasting their time.
- lead to more valuable conversations which could increase the overall value to users leading to more time on the app.
- more time on the app also allows Grindr the opportunity to benefit commercially.
- you could even make it a premium feature to generate more revenue (not that you should Grindr).
If you’re ready to get your valuable time back as well as your dating app, then vote now!
FYI, I’m doing a master in business; trust me on this ;)
