This feature is not wanted, it's is NEEDED! It's super frustrating seeing the vast majority of people on the app are 500+ km away from me. And the fact that you can't filter those profiles out by distance is even worse because you're only shown a limited amount of profiles. Grindr please add a distance filter!

The distance marker feature needs to be reinstalled on the main search page. This is a primary benefit of using this app, especially for paying customers!

Per you product support: your distance will not be shown at the top of your app window while you’re scrolling through other profiles.

I also posted about this (didn’t see this post). Mocked up a screen they could mimic.

Revert the cascade back to seeing distance as you scroll.

Not sure what prompted you to keep distance visible on the favorites page and profiles (if user has it enabled) but remove it from the cascade in 7.11.1. It was helpful to visually see when I went from profiles a distance away of 10 miles to 45 miles.

Why not put the distance in a container in the left side of the screen across from the up button? This would add symmetry to the cascade and balance it out.

Please show the distance again on the top of the grid. Thank you.

I live on Long Island and often talk to people in Connecticut who are marked as much as 1/4 of the actual distance I would need to drive to get to them. Changing the distance to a google maps type driving distance would help with finding people who are actually closest

I really miss the distance measurement that’s been removed from the grid view.

It was visible when scrolling down the “Nearby”grid. It was where the “Fresh” tab is placed now. Having it back would be helpful.

I have specific filters and don't want to see people 100 miles away. It would be nice for grindr to stop showing people after an x amount of distance

Why did you get rid of this feature? It was extremely useful without having to wade through individual profiles to learn how far someone is from you. Restore “distance while scrolling.”

It'd be great if the user had greater control over the range at which the app considers 'nearby'. Or a separation by locality (suburb,surrounding/metro, region, state, country)

I’m an unlimited user and one feature was as you scrolled down you’d see who was within how ms y metres/kms and their distance. In the last few hour the layout has changed and the distance viewer has gone. I was paying for unlimited because I wanted that feature now.

Yes...its a bad change and was a very useful feature...bring it back!!

Surprised more people aren't bothered by this change. It's really a pain to get an idea of how far away people are as you're scrolling the list.
