Distance Controls
Allow a user to be able to set distance parameter for whom they are seeing. Meaning that I only want to see users who are within a set distance from me. And likewise for users who see me so we don’t waste our time viewing people outside of our desired location radius.

I have the same problem.

A distance limit would be great. When your filters get very specific the distance goes on forever. So it's hard to always notice a profile is actually 200km away. Esp since most hide the distance display.

Hey Grindr wake up! We all think not being able to limit the search range is stupid lame! Is any fucking buddy in there?!
If so you got some work to do. So quit playing with yourselves and it done, yesterday!! -

Distance search/criteria. It would be nice to just see only the people who are in your area or within a certain mile radius. I don't mind chatting with people who are far out, but it would be nice to just see people on your grid who are close to you.

At some point, I remember seeing that the distance was being displayed while browsing the profile tiles, without having to specifically select a profile. I liked that feature but I don't see it any more. :(

Keep profiles current and in city where we are looking instead of 40 to 80 miles away. Get new developers!

Tired of creepy guys stalking my profile from hundreds of miles away with no real intention of meeting and wasting my time. Also would be beneficial for ensuring that meet ups are in traveling distance

I couldn't agree more. It shouldn't be that difficult to limit the distance to your immediate area. Even the same state would be a plus.

Let us set a search distance limit so we don’t look at someone we like then find out they’re 100 miles away.

The app always lists people in my area but when I end up talking to them they are nowhere near me. I would like a feature that adds a maximum search distance since if you've ever used the app you realize no one wants to go farther than 15 minutes away.. This is a huge pain and you end up wasting a lot of time talking to someone who's far away and you will never meet up with.

It would be nice if there was a slider to get profiles that are actually close to me. Instead, I get profiles that are like 400 miles away.

I strongly agree. Show profiles in certain distance, not states away.

As your scrolling down the distance showed up so you could see how far the person was from you before clicking their pic

You used to be able to see distances in miles in the yellow bar at the top. As you scrolled sown the miles increased. Super helpful. Please bring it back!

The Online Now grid shows me people 200+ miles away. That’s just plain daft. The usability of this app sucks.
I think you should give me a job to improve the usability of the whole application for users. I have over 25 years of managing digital UX. I could do a better job than your own people.

Some kinda seeing that doesn’t require premium so you’re just looking at people in a radius you’re willing to travel within.

People show up 100’s of miles away. I can’t find people within 5 miles. It says 5 miles away but actually 100’s away. Will not renew.

Have a bar to narrow down the radius of the members your looking for exp find a top with in 30 miles of zip code

When I search in this area in Boise, ID, I see all these people and their profiles says near Boise idaho but later on after talking with a lot of guys I learn they in fact are several hours away and in a completely different state, sometimes half way or more across the country
