Just make the age filter as it was before please! Don’t restrict how many guys we can contact!!

Yes. They should reverse this filter update. If I want to search people specifically of an age, I have to be able to do it.
It’s absurd to want to search for a specific age and not be able to.

Hell yeah, I'd realy like for the age filter to go back to only one specific age instead of a group.

Get rid of the new age rag you use to be able to select one age range but now it only goes to three ages. If I ONLY want to look at people that 27 I should be able to. Not forced to see 27 to 31.

I would like to request if we can have the race option back as we all have different tastes in people we like and feel this is taking away our choices to limit our search.

Also in the new version update as of 31 January 2022, the age filter only allows you to search for 25-29 instead of searching for one age group only. We dont want to search for ages 4 years apart at times. Please can this be restored.

There is no reasonable reason Grindr should have made this change, it doesnt help the user at all, in fact it only makes it harder to find your ideal match. When you consider the fact that grindr limits the amount of profiles you can view in the free version, it really seems that the only reason Grindr made this change is to persuade the user to buy xtra or unlimited... Its a real shame that they use such a shady method and that they value their money more than their users.

Recently the app has changed so you can only search an age range of 4 years e.g. 30-33, rather than allowing more specific search options e.g. you can no longer search 30-31 or anything lower than a four year range. It should be for the individual to choose their age preferences not the app to force a wider criteria, presumably so it can show you more profiles in the results.

I've been wanting this feature for so long.. so sick of getting messages from people far over/under my preferences. people don't really respect the bio in your profile.

I'm only interested in men who are 30+, but many of them don't have ages specified on their profile and they get filtered out when I use the "30 and over" age filter. If there was a 'Not Specified' option for Age, these men wouldn't be filtered out and we'd have more options. Could you please include that? Thanks!

Show preferred age range on profile(mandatory) . So we can skip the profile if our age does not match with their prefered age range

Filters(both basic and advanced), for free and paying users, should go both ways.

I have my basic filter set for guys in the age range of 50-70(as I am 58 years old and partial to guys my age).

But I get tons of taps and messages from guys in the younger age brackets, and as much as I am appreciative of their interest, they're not who I'm looking for.

Blocking and ignoring are rude behaviors(in this instance), and I dislike having to rebuff guys. I do specify in my profile "guys 50/older", but still, I think Grindr needs to apply filters so they work from both ends.

If I set "50-70" in the age range, then only guys 50-70 years old should see my picture on their main screen.

Spam is skyrocketing on the app and it takes away from the experience. Most spam comes from a specific age group. Blocking individual profiles does not help as new ones are created, multiple times a day. It's taking away from the experience. Please allow us to automatically block (not just ignore) specific age ranges that are either spamming, soliciting, or being abusive.

I agree! If I set an age filter it should allow me to only be visible to users within that age group.

Once you set the age filter, other than the filtered aged users should not view the profile.
Example: i set my profile age filter 25 to 35 i can view profiles in that range
I want my profile to appear only those falls under the criteria.
It should work two ways not just in my profile

If there were any options to set an age range for people that could interact with you on the app that would be really helpful and a lot safer for ppl on the younger side
