The idea I have isn't like the tinder app idea. However many gays don't know if their crush is gay and need a safe way of finding out w/o getting antagonize. Some men who are not out live in the Grindr shadows. What I recommend is an option for discovery mode. This mode should be safe for both parties and not revealing either men identity until the right data is matched. Discovery mode is an on/off button that allows one to be discovered by a secret admirer. This should not be on the premium account. It needs to be on the free version to be successful. Within the discovery mode a secure profile can be made that securely list 3 facts about the admiree that will not be shown but, is used for the admirer to input for them them to be given the chance to connect. Remember the identity should not be given away until all factor have been checked out. The last fact that should be asked of the admirer is a catch phrase that can be permissible in everyday conversation but also used as something that is listed on one fact of te admiree. Such like what is your favorite color?

I think this would be a great addition to grinder. Sometimes guys on the site ( like myself) see a guy thats at a bar and or is local not appearing in the site and want to, or isn't even have a pic posted and that would give him a chance to know that some one has a secret crush on him.
