hide instead of block
I want to ‘hide’ profiles. Not every profile is a binary decision of block entirely. A lot of times, the same profiles are nearest to me and they take up real estate in my grid. They might be friend material, or I might be interested at some point but not now. So if I could hide profiles and then toggle hidden profiles on and off with a filter that would be ideal.

It would be very nice to hide the profiles under a specified age group that we dont like. The hidden profile should not see our profiles.
Eg:- I dont like 18- 39 age group. So I hide this age group and they should not see my profile. The rest of people can see my profile.

Put in place a Hide or Disable Profile. For example, if you want to take a break and not completely delete your profile. Scruff, Bumble, and Tinder all have this option. When this feature is enabled, your profile is not searchable or viewable to anyone. You are completely hidden. Then when you are ready to go back, you can simply unhide your profile and still have your previous messages in your chat area. This makes it easy for people when they want to take a break but not delete their entire profile so they don’t lose chats.
