Stricter verification
I would like for Grindr to implement stricter verification for new and existing users in an effort to combat underage individuals posing as adults, bots, etc. I've heard a number of stories of men who have chatted with individuals who they thought were of legal age, only to find out upon meeting them that they're some horny teen. I'm proposing the implementation of verification measures such as ID (Government issued, driver's license, passport, etc), bank account, submitting a facial selfie with a piece of paper visible displaying a verification code, email verification, as well as changing the age requirements to make it so users must be 21 or older to join Grindr. If this is implemented, I'm hoping this sparks a new trend across the internet where sites implement strict verification measurements in an effort to keep minors off the internet.
I'd also like for all new and existing profiles be required to have face pictures of the user with a verification code displayed, with failure to do so resulting in immediate account termination. It should also be a requirement for both new and existing members to fill out their profiles as well

As with most dating/hook-up apps there is an option to make your account and the photo you have uploaded to be verified.
I strongly campaign for Grindr to have this feature in place as this would help users alike to know if the person they are conversating with are actually real.
This feature would stop users from ideally being catfished by whomever wishes to use a fake photograph.
This feature is also a great safety hazard in the event of a user being asked to ‘meet up’ or ‘have fun’ and then meeting up with someone whom is portentally dangerous and could possibly harm the user whom is genuine and not the imposter.
Another add on to this suggestion is to have a register verification date attached to the profile. Along with this, if support have been notified that a person is fake, and on numourous accounts the user in question has made different accounts within a set time period - the users IP address should either be suspended for a set time period or be permanently banned without proper I.D. information.

To be added to this which I forgot is..... once a user has been verified they then get the rights to verify other users too.
I think this would be a great way to help highlight:
Fake Profiles
Bots
Time wasters
Non genuine users -

Every profile should show the date it was created, like Hornet does. This would help establish credibility for a user. (Displaying it could be optional, I suppose, if there are people who prefer to keep it hidden.) For example, "Joined in Feb 2017" or "Member since Aug 2016" at the end of one's profile.

The verification option should be given to the users that pay for Grindr and when they meet a user on here that isn’t a verified user then they will be able to verify that user as genuine. We all know that Grindr is full of bots and fake profiles this feature will help highlight the fake profiles and bots. The verification of a user will result in a black tick with orange around it on the search screen next to the favourite star option. Users would be able to leave comments about the user they have met but will be in there profile bio. All verified users will have the option to have these comments on display for other users to see.

Every profile should show the date it was created, like Hornet does. I find it easier to spot fakes when I see that it was created hours ago and has just one generic photo.
