The idea of disallowing screen shot in the app is a good one. But one can still screen record in the app thereby getting access to information that made the screenshot disabling a success

The screenshot blocking feature on Android is purposeless and annoying, because others on iPhones and even Android with different manufacturers ('cause it's open sourced) can take screenshots. And I get the idea of an anonymous experience and the privacy of conversation but it's only applied partly based on devices. So please remove that feature. I will be thankful.

Can we include a notification or a message if someone takes screenshot of the messages or pictures in the chat similar to snapchat

People are taking screen shot of other people's personal pictures n profile pictures and using that for illigal activities and black mailing. This is a very big treat for community. Criminals and blackmailers are really using Grindr as their tool. Please look into this matter.

Why isn't there some type of lock feature for your pictures ? It's so easy for people to take a screenshot and have a copy of it.

Have screen shot and video screen shot disabled to avoid miss use of other users pictures. Have expiring pictures (10 seconds view)

Please implement screenshot blocked for all. This will help people to trust the app and users will start updating the profile pics. Surely it will give sense of security specially in developing country users. Upsets will spread this new feature updates and encourage others to use it safely. Instead of having just limited expiring pic options making while profile itself screenshot blocked will bring more users to app. Please give some thoughts on this.

I just recently had to block a profile. After I did, I decided that I actually need to report him for harassment because he made a new profile to message me again. I went back to unblock him so I could report him but the messages were erased and I couldn’t include screenshots to show the admins. I wish there was a feature allowing us to upload screenshots of the conversations to further prove that a user is violating the user agreement.

Like BLUED, they actually blocked screen recording and screenshot for security purposes. That would be great to prevent catfishing and gay-shaming in public. And please make the video call for free user...that's one of the important way to recognise their face and prevent the scammer to ask for phone numbers.

Great idea, to be honest. Pic collectors make a lot of people - myself included - nervous about using the app.

with all the catfish/blackmailing frauds screenshots have become a potential invasion of privacy for people who don’t wish for their sent pictures to be captured via SS and used against them or for strangers to keep your photos. I suggest you get with the developers of the ios app Confide and addopt their algorithms that allow the option to block recipients of sent messages from taking screenshots

I cannot stress enough that there needs a feature added to grindr to be notified when someone screenshots a pic in a chat. With this being mainly used as a hookup app, people are gonna exchange nudes often soI do feel that this is an extreme necessity to have the right to know when someone screenshots any pics. I wanted to test out if the screenshots were disabled on the grindr app earlier, I screenshot a pic from a random chosen chat and it still ended up in my gallery.

We want it back. I used it to save some of my important chats in case my data got lost. I also screenshotted my own photos which I took on grindr. I accept that screenshots were blocked for safety reasons but I mean there is so much safety measures now from timed photos to blocking someone... I am starting to like Scruff more... Grindr should get their act together

Disable the possiblity to screenshot while using the app.
This will decrease blank profiles and allow users to be more confident and honest about the informations they provide.
I don't see the necessity to take out personnal content from the app to somewhere else.
This will make Grindr a better and a safer place.
