Blur ALL screenshots for all users!
Sending expiring photo’s are great, if you’re paying for it?
What I don’t understand is why grindr is putting their users at risk by not blurring ANY screenshots on the app.
Us users put a lot of trust in the app and to feel safe we need to pay? Wow, literally putting a price on people’s safety.
It doesn’t not matter if your a paying member of a free member, nothing should be allowed to be screenshot (pics/conversations).Do better Grindr. DO BETTER.

There's a lot of catfishing and photos being taken and use to create profiles. I have unfortunately found out that someone has been using my photo to talk to other guys.

For the safety of users please introduce functionality that blocks people from taking screenshots of profile photos and the profiles themselves as it contains private personal information which should be protected.

Please, disable the screenshots from regular pictures we send. This option is only available on the expiring photos and we need this in the regular photos we send for safety and privacy. PLEASE!!

Expiring photos and the ability to block screenshots are safety considerations and shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall. Please include these features at the free level as well.

Notify user when someone screenshots their photos whether it’s their profile or whether it’s pictures that were sent in the chat. This will help eliminate others from using your photos and impersonating you, which has increasingly become an issue.

Many people send explicit photos on this app and some people do not like to get on other apps like Snapchat where it’s easier to share these photos so if we had the screen shot alert it would make people feel so much safer with sharing their photos and it should be included without getting and extra or unlimited package

No Screenshots for 10-second photos, please.
The whole point of having a 10-second photo is so others can be discreet and safe about what they send to one another. If someone screenshots it, the whole idea of discreet safety flies out the window.
If you prohibit screenshots from 10-second photos it will create a more safe and honest environment for the LGBTQA+ community. Especially for those who are trying to be discreet and/or closeted due to pressuring and strict family/ religious status.

Or at least don't allow screenshots when viewing expired photos

Whenever someone screen shots the chat or a picture you send it should be blocked or at least notify the user on the other end of the chat!

Disable screenshots on app completely, there are these cheap ass catfishers who basically are identity thieves and Grindr's moderation is slower than a sea turtle when you report those dumbos. It'd be just better to disable allowing screenshots so that it doesn't happen in the first place and solve the Major issue with this app, "impersonation", to a large extent.

Why not just add for everyone, the option, to not allow screenshot sendet picture. As it is already programmed in Pro mode with the time-limited viewing of sent images, because as I really appreciate this function for users, but I don't always want to just display all images allow viewing for a limited time. But I would appreciate it if my pictures generally don't could be copied.

Develop software so that pictures and or message content sent in confidence can’t be forwarded onto other contacts. I know that Facebook has incorporated this feature which puts a stop to revenge porn being spread. The technology is already here and I am positive that this would improve Grindr and make its users feel a safer confidence. And possibly this would help stop the blank profiles and it’s catfishes.

You can screenshot disappearing messages, or even record them. You should be not able to do so.

Hi, It’s been a month since I’ve started using Grindr. There have been many cases where I’ve sent my picture to someone and they screenshot the conversation then crop my pic and start using it as their DP. I’m fed of those guys. Can you please remove the limit for expiring pictures that free users have? Expiring pics are awesome cause there is no way to take a screenshot of the pic.

When people send expiring picture means they don’t want other people save their picture or even some chat histories. However People who chatting with you can make quick screenshot to save those expiring picture and unsend (pull delete) messages. I thinks better disabled screenshot on Grindr app or at least make a notification to the other guy that his picture or chat histories been screenshot recorded by the person you are chatting with with.

To stop the pic collectors and fake profiles who steal and use genuine users pictures, there should be a notification & blank screen effect when another user attempts to screenshot your pictures.

Keep videos unlimited for free users but for the sake of privacy, make it so screenshots can't be taken of videos (just like how they are blocked when taken of expiring photos) so discreet people can send real face pics without fear.
