I understand why you’ve removed the ethnicity filter, but I think it’s short sighted. I love black guys and often search for them on Grindr- this is suddenly gone. Racism shouldn’t be confused with preference of what you’re attracted to. Getting rid of this filter should mean you get rid of age filters or body type filters. Who you’re attracted to and your intrinsic beliefs are very different things

They are losing a lot of clients from canceling their subscription. I’m cancelling mine. They won’t refund a prorated amount. I’m going to my cc company and showing them it’s a breach of contract on their part because I am no longer receiving the service I was told I would get when I signed up. Dispute it with your credit card company.

Please re-add this filter. Is not discrimination. Is just matter of what you like or not.

Bring back ethnicity filter! I need to filter out all the white boys in my area because that’s all there is! Otherwise, you have to scroll through page after page. Age, weight, height, position, and any other filter should go as well or ethnicity should come back. Just canceled my subscription.

I got a new phone and this has disappeared

Hey why did you guys delate the ethnic area in the profil and profil surch?? Thats very important, for many of us!

I noticed the ability to search by Ethnicity is gone. That is absurd. Honestly, in a way it's grindr contributing to the core problem by creating a stigma around race. Is it wrong if I am a White man, but I like Latino men? No, that is not wrong. Is it a problem if I am a Black man that is looking for other Black men to connect with? No, that should not be a problem. It would not make me racist. It would make me comfortable. When you made the decision that searching by Ethnicity would no longer be an option, but that by Age, by Body Type, by Weight would be options. Well, that's Agist if I am searched by Age. It's a form of Body Shaming if I don't appear in a search because I am Slim. There is no difference. I have the ability in my profile to not list my Ethnicity, if I so choose. Therefore, if it's an option in the profile; then it should be an option to search by. I would have expected grindr to find better ways to show their support for #BLM.
