Why did you delete search by ethnicity from refine search that i am looking for ? Can you explain why?

I'm not into other white guys....my screen is filled with them. It's not racist to have a preference...I'm white and prefer BLACK men. Deleting that feature was stupid and pandering

Since ethnicity filter is removed, the price of the app can be reduced as it’s giving us one less feature to search through!

Bring back the ethnicity filter. Not one black person enjoys this feature. I have my preference which is other black guys like myself. Now that the filter is gone im literally in a freakin sea of white guys... the very people who constantly message me wirh racist comments... we need the ethnicity filter back on. Plus i paid for that feature. That's literally the only reason I'm paying for grindr is these ethnicity feature

I believe removing the ethnicity filter for nothing more than political correctness was a bad idea. There are plenty of white guys that prefer black and vice versa, so boiling this down to being a racist idea is a poorly conceived notion. The choice to remove the filter should be reversed.

It is outrageous that I am paying for Xtra and one of my main filters have been taken away. BRING BACK THE ETHNICITY FILTER! It was a terrible idea to take it away in the first place.

Please bring back the ability to search by race. Hear me out. Now since I cant search by race i have to comb through hundreds of accounts that don't interest me. Then I have to message dozens of users to ask their race because they don't have it listed and when they come back and tell me their race if I don't like it I have to tell them hey you're not the right race or block them. I bet that makes them feel good . That's why a race filter is important. I am a white guy seeking black problem is there are not a lot of Black people close to me within 10miles but there are hundreds of blank profiles within 10miles of me so now my whole screen is filled with blank profiles and people that i am not interested in. I been a paying user for over two years I will give it 3 months if no change I am done. If I could post a screen shot here you would see what I am talking about. Literally 90% of my search now is showing blank profiles with zero information on the profiles. Good job snowflakes and Grindr

I am a ‘coloured’ person. It’s unreasonable and unfair to remove the ethnicity feature! Grindr says it is in support of the Black lives movement? I think black and coloured people must find this really insulting! Sounds like a ‘white’ person’s trying to be politically correct! How is removing this paying feature help on improving equality in choose a partner?! Why not removing features like ‘body type’? ‘Tribes’? Or even age! If Grindr really cares about equality? Sometimes, trying to be politically correct makes one look really stupid! I won’t be renewing my subscription. No point! I just go on free membership!

There is no reason to have removed the ethnicity filter this is real racism please return it everyone has a preference or a choice in what ethnicity they choose to be with the fact that there is a choice and different ethnicities are listed is fine as long as they’re there they’re included there’s no reason to delegate what choice we have to look at please return it

Grindr, removing the ethnic filter won't deter racism on the app. All those calling it racism, go live somewhere where the kind of guys you vibe more with, are NOT the majority. Just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling. Put your hands up, say your apologies, take your beating and restore the filter. That, or (judging by comments) continue to lose revenue. Mine definitely included.

Removing ethnicity is not going to improve equality! It will never change people’s preference in choosing a partner! Nothing to do with equality! How about removing body type? Removing tribes too? Height?

An ethnicity filter is only discriminatory if the person who utilizes it discriminates. An ethnicity filter for *** is no more discriminatory than a filter for age or height.

We demand the ethnic filter back! Everybody have a preference, and we rather see who we like. I'm not going to renew my membership, if it's not restored.
