Hi. I’m white. My bf is Black. But in our particular area we both wish we could filter out black. Not because we don’t like black. But because literally 100 drug dealers with an ice cream ? symbol or 300 prostitutes soliciting thier big black **** is a really disgusting disease infested problem. We can have all other races on our screen. But when you forced that one onto all of us. We can’t block 10,000 people in our area. Currently we are both app developers and a lawyer and trying to think of our own app to get around this.

It's rediculous to determine that ****** preference has anything to do with racism. Are you going to remove the position filter next so people can't descriminate against top bottom or verses... Or maybe tribes... I have a multicultural group of friends and lots of them have ****** preferences too. I often chat with people that message me that I'm not interested in to make more friends. But I don't sexualized them. You have over 3k requests to add the filter back. What's it going to take?

Definitely need to bring back the ethnicity filter. Its not anymore racist than being gay is being sexist (and its not sexist at all - we all know who and what we like)

People have types, and that includes ethnic backgrounds. It is a major hassle and is quite annoying to scroll through hundreds of profiles that do nothing for us. The argument that the ethnic filter was racist would also establish the app itself as sexist. Please bring it back.

We have a right to our preferences/type. Stop stupid pandering and put the money we pay you to good use actually helping Black Lives, especially Black Trans Lives.

If this feature is not reinstalled I will NOT be renewing my Grindr Xtra and will start a social media movement through the Grindr Facebook community and other social media platforms to encourage people to boycott Grindr. This is the only way it will get Grindr’s attention. It’s becoming increasingly harder to find guys I’m attracted to with this completely unnecesary and ridiculous change. It might be time to move on to another app that listens to its Users.

It's ok to have age next to your name but if I want to search again guys as a white guy in racist. I don't prefer white guys. So i am forced to look at 100s of them. Well remove age next to the name.
