Agreed! But for the opposite reason! I'm native American, but I don't want to date another native American near me cause more than likely they know someone I know who knows. Y parents lol and it would be great to find a guy that's different from myself and not have to worry about being outted. And I also get confused for being latino alot, not that i feel some type of way about them its the people who are prejudice that are the problem. I'm often called many slurs. Often telling me to go back to my own country, when in fact I'm an Indigenous American whose from the very land we stand on and its not cool to say that to anyone. Especially here in America when my ancestors are the only ones that really have the right to say that. But yes bring back the filter. If any ones logic or reasoning for thinking that have an thinticity or race filter feels its only for people who are prejudice, then that very well could be the case, but if ur prejudice is ur preference of the type person ur interested in, is based on who ur comfortable with, that's ur choice & there is not a need to explain urself.

So one of the reason why i subscribe to grindr pro is so that i can use the ethnicity feature. With that feature being removed, I don’t see any other reason why I wanna continue my subscription. Bye

Bring back the ethnicity parameter this was a feature paid for and now removed. Are we not entitled to chose ethnic background as well as age, sexual preferences, transgenders and sexual diseases among other things?

If Grindr doesn't bring back the ethnicity filter this will be my last time I will pay for Grindr. Grindr wants to charge too much even after taking off the ethnicity filter, instead of dropping the price. Grindr needs to either drop the price or bring back the ethnicity filter. Or both.

Please don’t re-add this. It was never an “ethnicity” filter, it was a race filter with Latino included. If you want an ethnicity filter, it would have hundreds of options. You were not filtering on ethnicity. You were filtering on race (which has no factual basis beyond prejudicial racial preferences)

Guys are leaving Grindr and going to Jackd because Jackd has an ethnicity filter

For those of you not happy with Grindr for taking off ethnicity filter, go to the Jackd app which has the ethnicity filter. it's just like Grindr. Grindr is no good no more.

I need ethnicity filter back really bad. I can't find what I'm looking for. I have Jackd also and I like it better because they still have ethnicity filter. I'm about ready to close my grindr account that I pay for. I will not Renew it if ethnicity filter is not back by the time my grindr account ends in May 2021. To all of you wanting an app with ethnicity search option, go to jackd which still has it. More guys will start leaving grindr.

Hey guys will all the people asking to restore the ethnicity filter, the more interesting question is why hasn’t Gryndr returned it ?Obviously Gryndr doesn’t care about their customers. Why have this feedback site if your just going to ignore yourself customers. Idiots. Someone needs to develop a new alternative app so we can ditch Grindr. Restore the ethnicity filter please.

Please put back the choice to choose ethnicity. The area where I live is mostly Hispanic and while I have nothing against them. It makes it challenging to find my type.

You have totally ruined the app by removing the filter. Now how am I supposed to meet other hispanic men (not all, but many of them are native Spanish speakers) in the middle of the (USA) Midwest?
It's not always about sex. It's nice sometimes just to hang out and talk to someone in your own language!

If you removed the ethnicity Filter...then why still allow users to broadcast their ethnicity at all. Remove all parts that have to do with ethnicity! Why half do it?!! Since you all dont care about your customers wants and desires as it shows... just make it so everyone sees everyone and remove the ability to state what ethnicity you are on your profiles as well!!!🤷🏽‍♂️🤔

yeah we pay a premium for filters but this seems Absurd!

We used to have option to filter profiles with my desired ethnicity. But now that option is not showing up. It was really helpful filter with ethnicity. Plz put that back.
