Block users need to be blocked permanently
I’m being harassed and stalked by the same person who just keeps making new profiles and pretending to be someone else. I am literally deleting grindr because of this issue, there has gotta be a way to prevent this from happening.

Blocked profiles are unblocked when the blocked person uninstall and reinstall the app. So I have to see many many blocked profiles again and again. This shucks!

Keep blocked profiles blocked, instead or allowing them to immediately re populate.

Timed block of a user then like every week or more it automatically inblocks all temp blocked users THIS should be IN ADDITION to having Block feature

I wish I could temporarily block regulars without them knowing. I love incognito but them nobody can see me if I'm looking for something change of pace

Why do I (even though I'm a free user right now) get directed to an add after I block someone. I shouldn't have to be "punished" for exercising my right for safety and security.

No matter how many times you block someone, they will reappear within the hour or the next day because they’ve made a new account. I’ve obviously blocked them for a reason, so it should stay that way. Also the ads when you’re not a paid customer are insane. All you have to do is press the back button for example and you’re forced to watch an ad every single time.

When I block someone, keep them blocked forever or until I decide to unblock them.
The issue is that the blocked profiles keep showing up even after I blocked them multiple times.

Instead of a list with blocked profiles show a grid view with all blocked profiles also ordered by distance (it give an option to change the ordering). This way it's much easier to unblock a profile close by rather than having to scroll through an endless lost of blocked profiles.

I totally get this, however, that would require Grindr tracking UUIDs which goes against the Privacy act in pretty much every country.

... And still I'm harrassed by the same ill Guy that I made banned 10 times and Always Come back

Blocked profiles keep getting back.
It would be nice that blocked profiles keep staying blocked -

When someone blocks you it delete their chat which makes it impossible to report someone, in the years I’ve been using the app I’ve had people make nasty transphobic comments and then block me before I am able to report them.

I think when you block an account, the device which that account is being used on should be blocked as well. Meaning, if I block someone and they sign into a new account, they’ll be already blocked from the new account. I am getting sick of blocking people and them signing into a new account to send me hateful messages.

I blocked a user and the profile still shows on the grid however if I tap the users image Im taken to a screen that says the user is blocked and it asks if I’d like to unblock them. The same user is also still able to send messages and taps. This is occurring on multiple blocked profiles.

When you block someone, it should mean just that. They are blocked from seeing you , not blocked but can still view your profile 🤦♂️

When I used to block users, they were gone from my view.
Now, for some reason, although they have been blocked, their profile is still visible.
If I block someone, it should mean that, BLOCKED. I don’t wish to see these profiles I have blocked so please revert back to how it used to be!!! -

Would love to be able to be invisible to others within 1-2 miles of your location to avoid uncomfortable interaction w neighbors etc
