Profile field for desired age range. Also a filter so all people on your feed are open to your age.

I like this Explorer feature but I'm not allowed to filter profiles by tribes weight, age Etc. I pay for the service so that I may use the filters and expand my radius. You seem to have cut back on that but the Explorer feature would allow me to search another areas if I was able to use the filters currently you don't allow that

For example, if a 15 year old student poses as an 18 year old student and messages a teacher and the teacher responds with messages and pictures, the student can then spread his info around school leading to the teacher getting fired or even prosecuted in court. All while the entire time the teacher thought he was talking to an 18 year old. Either that or make it to where you have to PROVE YOUR AGE before making an account. Too many instances where this happens, we need to change this!

We should have the option to block anyone outside of our preferred age range from viewing and contacting us.

I just discovered that I cannot contact someone who is 40 miles away because I have no subscribed. I have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with that.

However, if he (or anyone else) looks me up from a distance and wants to contact me they cannot if they are not XTRA.

From their perspective this may seem totally reasonable but from mine there is a problem. Going XTRA should ensure that I can communicate with anyone over any distance but if they cannot communicate with me then I am being denied potential contact despite paying.

I would suggest it is changed to deny non-payers from contacting each other only over distance but allow then to only contact those on XTRA, even if it ups the fee a little because paying XTRA should make one accessible to all you wish to contact you irrespective of whether they are XTRA or not otherwise you are still short despite paying.

As an older user can I suggest a compulsory "Age Range" field on profiles so that I know who is disinterested in my age at a glance. It would save a lot of awkwardness and unpleasantness This should have no default setting, i.e. you must manually put up, because in the days of Gaydar with it's 18-99 default, people were constantly saying I was too old when my contacting them was based on their being too arsed to change the 18-99 age range default.

ability when you have applied filters for types of guys you are looking for to have grindr only allow people in the filter criteria contact you. Say for example I applied a age filter of 25 to 40 years old this would stop anyone 24 and under and 42 and over from messaging me. It would also be good to be able to filter guys by there sexuality e.g gay guys only as some guys are not in to trans and ******** and this takes up space on your screen with guys your not interested in and then have to currently go on a blocking spree to get rid of them.
