Hi Guys,

Why is Grindr constantly producing its notification sound for no reason? It makes that sound, I pick up my phone to check and there was nothing. No tap, no message - nothing. And it keeps happening. What’s going on?

Would be nice to have other tones for message notification. As well as messages in locked screens or notifications when not on the app to show up as Grindr message. Not the persons written message. Would be more discrete.

It’ll be nice to have a discreet tone notification as well, since we also have discreet logo app now.

To change notification sounds for privacy purposes

Allow the notification sound to change. The Grindr sound is known, and the alert going off at the wrong moment can be very dangerous.

Instead of the same weird tone you canpick your own

Omg yes it’s so embarrassing out of the blue I might get 1ping or 6

Give us more Options for different app sounds. I want to hear notifications but don't want it to be the obvious grindr sound.

Just silence your phone or change sound settings

It would be great to set the tone for notifications so that I can be a bit more discreet in some areas.

It's important for privacy

You already let us choose another grindr icon so why not let us choose a new notification sound?
