I found a glitch that makes the screen rotate if anyone is interested. I usually pay for grinder as well, but recently let my account return to the status with Ads. If you go to your main screen of those nearby you, scroll down to the picture of the person directly 2 pics up from the first ad. Click that profile. Exit the profile, then click the ad below, let it maximize to full screen then exit out of it either using the “done” button or clicking the rim of the screen and the screen magically rotates. This is an amazing glitch for those of us with IPads!

Why don’t you have landscape mode for you app? Scruff does. I’m disabled and use my iPad in landscape and I can’t use it in portrait mode without help. I don’t like that I want privacy. It’s hard enough being disabled and gay without you making it difficult. Where’s my equally?

It’s been three years since this original post, and Grindr still doesn’t figures out how to make its app to work in landscape mode. 👍🏼

Yeah, this. Scruff does it. I don’t know why I thought Grindr had the better programmers but maybe not.

Get lndscpe orientation functionality for Grindr Xtra, I’ve requested like 10 times for last 10 years with other features given the green light and landscape orientation not done, scruff and all social app have it is 2020.

iPad landscape mode or a native Grindr app for ipad. This is crazy we don’t have this yet! Plus link the messages across all platforms.
