Incognito mode options
1) incognito mode by age range: set an age range you wish to be visible to, but incognito otherwise
2) Current incognito mode but stay on the grid. Appear offline, but on the grid so guys can see your profile... some guys are too shy to even tap if you’re online... should be an option to stay on the grid in incognito mode
3) = 1) + 2): allow to set age range for appearing on the grid as ‘offline’

When launching the app, for unlimited users, should give the option to go online or Incongnito at start. This way it doesn’t show you just logged in before going incongnito.

I don’t want to block this one (1) person because it might be a neighbor, friend or co-worker that I want to be able to keep in touch with on my own terms / time schedule. Perception is reality for most people, if they see me online too often, or what they themselves consider too long, then they think less of me or worst case scenario they tell our mutual friends their negative perception that I am 'always on Grindr'. We want better control and Grindr could be the first app to offer this technology.

True. People typically associate offline accounts with bots and it makes it hard to go incognito knowing that people will look at my profile.

Incognito should say online __hours/days ago from the moment you choose to go to incognito mode instead of just offline. Or give the option if you want it to say offline.

If I am away from the app (for a certain amount of time, maybe) and I open it again, it should be in incognito mode until I decide to switch that off (back to online status)
Maybe I need to open the app only to retrieve a message I already have in my inbox without wanting to be seen as online or in that particular location

For privacy, some of us don’t want to add our face pic or have others that are within our area to see us - please add this feature to hide our profiles from other local users that we might not want to be shown to

Incognito options for individual profiles of the account holders choice. Also the ability to appear offline for specific users set by parameters such as age etc.

There should be an option for one to be able to cloak or selectively be incognito/invisible to certain people, an unlimited member chooses specifically

The incognito mode should be able to apply not only to everyone but also to a specific user to be really useful. There could be in the menu to block a user another icon to be in incognito mode for this person
