Sync chats and notes across devices
It's one account. It should work seamlessly.

No clue I’m not a Apple or Grindr tech kinda guy,

My theory is that this is meant to be a discretion feature. But it should have an opt in and opt out if that's the case and for those not wanting messages to be erased per device to not have to use their own storage to back up their messages would be great right I have to use space on my Google drive granted it's not very much but it's a portion that you don't really see having need for in other apps. For an app that wants to charge so much for Grindr unlimited and other levels of premium it seems an oddly antiquated UI

Same problem for me. I use Scruff as well and it’s far superior to Grindr. Scruff syncs immediately. Grindr has an obvious flaw. I would have thought this is easy to fix.

I can use Facebook Messenger on any of my devices. This is not available on Grindr and it really sucks.
I have to switch devices to see information I know is there. It would be much better is the full conversation and notes would save to my account regardless of the device I use.

When Grinder is used on multiple devices messages don’t sync up across the devices. Notifications only appear on one of the devices. Messages work as expected on Jack’d and Adam4adam across both iOS and Android so this is not a device or OS issue. This is an app issue. I am not paying for Xtra when key feature of the app doesn’t work.

same question. Is there any feedback from the development team available?

To log out of old devices and maybe see where you are logged in at. Since it's hard to get the chat backup to sync between devices sometimes anyway when moving from one to the other individual conversation.

Cloud synced profile for enabling sound and synced usage on multiple devices. Or partner accounts. Or both. I mean Jesus what year is this 1948?

I have the app both on my phone and iPad (same account) but I have found that the messages only show up on the device that it was read on originally. It becomes difficult to navigate conversations if you have to switch devices. So in a sense it would be nice to see everything send and everything received no matter what device you are logged into at the time.

Why the messages and the backups splitted between the the 2 devces. Moreover when you change of device the other’can still revpceiventhe mesage.

Having to backup and restore your messages everytime you use the app rather than having messages on the same account synced across devices is a really outdated method, it’s a really user unfriendly approach.
Have messages synced across devices by default so they can’t be missing and reduce the risk of losing them should you not have them backed up to the most recent.

Sync full chat history between 2 or more different devices for one account. Me and my partner use the same Grindr account on our two mobile devices. Currently any sent messages only show on the device from which it was sent. It would be good for both of us to be able to view the whole conversation.

This is easy fix. All you need to do is chat back up on one device and chat restore on the second device.

Please enable message sync between devices using one account

Parts of conversations are randomly sent to different devices you’re logged into. Please sync the app across devices like scruff does.

So annoying that my phone and my tablet are on the same account but messages aren’t should have been a given
