My number 1 gripe. It seems like such an obvious workflow. Sucks when I look at my iPad and check and reply to messages those do not show up on my iPhone and vice versa.

This is my number one problem with this app.

Chats are stored on local phone, when i use another phone to login, chats wont show up in 2nd phone. It would be nice if chats can shared between different devices

Quite why such an expensive app is so basic is a mystery, so before I cancel my sub here’s an idea: sync chats across devices on iOS, is sooooo easy to do. Also code for landscape on iPad. Again, soooooo easy to do.

Grindr is a clunking mess. It’s a hideously expensive one too.

Question. My husband and I share paid grindr acct. we have noticed that we don’t share the same messages. Is there a way that we can see all messages on both devices?

syncing should be fluid and consistent blocking on the app should then also reesult in the profile not still running artound on the web able to message me, pictures deleted on the app either through blocking they should not still be able to access themn or see them on the web this applies to blocked and non blockee if i block someone who has seen my pictures they should not still be able to have them in the recieved photos similarly someone blocking me i shouldnt still have access to their pictures.

Grindr should absolutely be able to sync across ALL of your devices. It’s really annoying that you have missing conversations when you jump from iPhone to iPad. I use other apps and they allow me to do so. Come on Grindr, let’s get this done.

Your chats/messages should be saved/backed up on to the profile so that you don’t have to worry about losing your messages if/when you get a new phone, that way all your previous/current messages will be on your new device as soon as you login

being able to sync your messages and or retrieve your back up from any of your devices to automatically upload or sync to another device(ex: iPhone to my Samsung Galaxy tab) being able to see my chat history without backing it up and being able to switch back and forth and it seamlessly syncs and loads my chat history and settings on the other device weather it's and Apple,Android, or any other device that can have Grindr on it

Hello. So Im paying for the yearly subscription. I have two phones and use the same account on both. Why cant I see the sent and received chat? I understand the “backup chat”, but that only works when you have the same iCloud on both devices. I feel that is a really turnover on this app.

When i reinstall grind app i lost all data... Chat and pics. I wad try restore so many times still nothing happened.. How can i fix this problem

I agree, for the price we pay I should be able to use any device and what I have on my phone is exactly what I have on my tablet, laptop etc.

I'm new to using Grindr but expect to be able to communicate on multiple devices.

This used to exist prior to chat backups. Please bring it back. I would like to switch between my iPhone and my iPad
