Just updated the app to the latest ‘fix’ . The text box now only holds about 4 or 5 lines of text for a reply or a question. So w of us on here are capable of strong a few sentences of more than 5 or 6 words together.
You can still carry on typing text that is shown as part of the message you send, but you cannot see why you have written and the texts doesn’t scroll or the box increase in size. -

Exactly and well stated. I am rapidly approaching not being able to read messages on this app. What’s a dad to do?

After the last update, font size in the chats are too big. Find a middle way between small and big.

I propose an option to make it where you can increase the text size for people who are visually impaired. Not all people have perfect vision, so why not make it easier for some to browse and search, and not struggle to read what's being said on profiles and in chat?

I have to use the zoom features on my phone to be able to read the messages. It is very impractical and cumbersome. Other similar apps suports the large font settings I have on my phone, so I don’t understand why grindr could not do the same.

This feature request does not fit neatly under any one category. The fact of the matter is that the application is very difficult if not impossible to use the times for me. I have some vision issues with my needing to use a time 10 (sometimes 12) font in PDF or DOC files. imagine the difficulty when trying to read a message in a simple exchange on Grindr when you cannot increase the size by using two fingers and pulling or pushing the characters to make them larger; there is no place available to change the font size under the settings or any place else that I can find; the setting of the font size within iOS does not carry forward into your application. Measure the incredible frustration and difficulty of even filing this feature request when to create a new password you cannot increase the font size by the fault you have to keep on going back and re-doing it every time the sequence falls apart when you’re trying to even create the password to do this. On top of this, when you have light blue text against the white background it is very very difficult if not impossible for people who have 20/100 eyesight-which is not extraordinarily bad and not even close.to being considered visually impaired - to read the FAQs to learn that there is no apparent help on how To change the font or the darkness of the type into later figure out that the autocorrect changes "font" to "don't" So that the correct search was never done to begin with.
Think about it folk. Not everyone using your software /has 5je eyes of a 20-sometuibf and there are.mant 20
Aethibfs that do not have perfect vision.I did not go and check this yet but I would expect there maybe something in the Americans with disabilities act that may cover this legally? You may want to take a look at it…
This post was proofread and attempted to be corrected however the font is too small and keeps on getting changed back to two small anytime I begin typing when I supersize it.

I prefer using emojis in their primitive, text-based symbols. i.e " :-) " or " :-( ".
The current font style that Grindr uses, unfortunately, sometimes conveys a wrong emotion. For instance, the smiling emoticon makes it appear as a confused or apathetic emoji.

You need to make the text size and boldness adjustable in the app adjustable accessibility for people who have vision impairments
