Not having ads with sound

I get it, Grindr needs ad revenue but ads which randomly pop up and start blaring loud noises and sounds? Really Grindr? Is it really such a hard concept to understand we don’t want to have to silence our phones or risk having everyone in the building hear the ads?

    Music playing when I tap anything on Grindr. It will just start in the middle of the night and wake me up !

    Please change or remove the Eaze commercial.

    Some of us try to use grindr discreetly. And the commercial has music but, most inportantly, contains the grindr ringtone. It basically tells everyone around me that i am on Grindr.

    This ads take over sound so if you are listening to something it stops it I do not think an ad should be able to do it.

    People are reporting this annoying sound problem for a year (maybe more) ! and there is no answer from Grindr... I wonder how much they really care about customers!

    May 2019 - New wave of indiscriminate loud ads that blast annoying sounds, even though phone is muted, ringer is off, and all Grindr settings switch off sounds in Notification center (iPhone). this is a non-compliant application. Is there a decent alternative to Grindr so we don't have to put up with all this $h1T?

    Ads repeatedly play annoying “alert” sounds... multiple times even when I’m not interacting with the app. You should not allow unprompted audio.

    Just default sound to App setting or no sound
