Stop automatic refreshing
Sometimes when I return to the thumbnail feed after viewing a profile or using another app, I see a guy that I want to message, but then the feed automatically refreshes and the guy disappears :( Sometimes, if I am lucky I can find him again after searching carefully, but most of the time he is completely lost. This has caused me SO much frustration. PLEASE end this!
(A possible alternative to automatic refreshing would be to make a 'refresh' icon hover at the top of the feed/screen when it comes time to refresh, but allow us USERS to click on it when we are ready. No more lost connections PLEASE!)

Stop automatically return to the top of Faves list unless the user presses the 'Faves' to request to go to the top of Faves.
I have a hundred of Favorite profiles that i want to see one by one. The Faves always returns to the top, and it is unnecessary. -

Exactly... I don't want to keep returning to the top of my favourites list while scrolling through them!
If it's an intended feature (can't imagine why it would be cuz it's more than useless it's annoying and has a negative impact on using the app) please remove it. And if its a bug (seems likely) please fix it!

I have many, many favorites because I add everyone I talk to, to my favorites for different reasons. Since the last update, every time I stop scrolling and select a profile, when I'm done looking at the profile, I anticipate continuing my search in favorites, but at the top I noticed the page is being refreshed and it starts from the top again. This is a bug. It didn't do this in previous versions.

Please make it optional for the auto refresh. I personally find it so annoying when I am scrolling and it sends me back to the top.

We use to be able to hit the mask at the bottom for a refresh of our home screen. It doesn’t work with this iteration.

In early versions the auto refresh was selectable from settings. Why did you remove this option?

I just posted this issue, not realizing it's already here. Yes, I agree, the auto refresh is annoying when you are part way down the feed and then have to start all over.

Stop refreshing the grid every 10 seconds. My grid refreshes every 10 seconds. It's quite annoying

Please stop the auto-refresh and let the user click an icon refresh. Many times I'm near the end of the thumbnails and Grindr auto-refreshes and I have to start all over from the top. It's annoying.

Yes please STOP with the auto-refresh. Be like IG or Twitter which just gives a "new posts" message you can choose to tap to refresh. I have to imagine this is also a source of unnecessary battery drain, which the devs should keep in mind too.

Let us refresh the screen by ourselves. Don't have the refresh occurring automatically. It is really annoying when you are looking at profiles and suddenly the screen refreshes and bounces back to the top again.

When I look at a profile and go back to the thumbnails, the thumbnail page refreshes, sending me back to the top of the list practically every time. So I have to scroll & scroll & scroll down to find where I was before. At the least, it should go back to about where I was before and NOT go to the top. Or have an option for user to control when to refresh. Very frustrating!
