The ability to look up someone's profile by knowing their username.

Be able to search by profile name for easier filtering of profiles displayed.

I am basically from Pune. If I want to chat with a person from Mumbai, I am unable to do. If you have a search option by using username it will be good.

Your profile name should be a unique name or number. By having a unique number with your profile, it would stop fraudulent profiles and stop people from impersonating your profile. You could share your official Grindr handle on your social media, for example, to let people find your real profile and know that all other profiles are fake. No more weirdos bullying and harassing you and others.

I sometimes see a person that’s perfect for a friend. It would be great to be able to forward his profile to the friend.

On Grindr, it is not required for members to set up a unique username as on other sites like Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit. Therefore, sometimes it is difficult to know who exactly is the other individual chatting with us. Also, there are times when we like someone but we don't have the time to chat with them. With unique usernames, we could go back later on and search for their username, but right now Grindr does not have that option. The ability to look for a specific username would be amazing.

Have a profile name search feature where we can find users based on their profiles name

Refer a friend/or profile that someone else may be interested in.

User ID search feature. I live in a very rural community where there are not many guys to talk to. Really would be nice for an LGBTQ app to support its small town users.

Make people’s profiles shareable. I’d love to connect friends in Grindr but there’s no way to forward someone’s profile to another person.

To able to search for a certain member by name or email or by a certain tag they have on there profile

Search for guys by there profile name

To locate someone and you can remember part of their screen name or if you want a friend to check someone’s profile to see if they know them or whatever so that it can be easier to find but not keep it to the exact spelling because people are creative in their names.
