I have a genuine problem using condoms. Whittle street agreed with me on this. I have had 2 Sri’s in a year for gonorrhoea and was told that even if I’d used a condom it would not have protected me against the sti because it’s really contagious. It’s not my gonorrhoea it’s something that piggybacked onto me. I have tests every 3 month and keep on my phone the results to show people if they ask To demand that we do tell and post results online is degrading. Medical records are private that’s that. Maybe it could be a voluntary thing designed to reassure people who sleep with me not a thing to make me wear a condom because I can’t wear one

Dear Grindr,
This an important message. I understand that in the recent update Grindr has disallowed usage of "Mock GPS". But Please lend me an ear for a minute.
There are many like me who still have to live and work in insensitive areas. Where local people are insensitive, apathetic and hateful towards LGBT community.
My recent experience of using the app in the small town I'm working at was bitter. Everyday I get followed by a local Gay guy from my office to my local residence. Another guy ended up blackmailing me and it was reported too.

My point is, Grindr is not just a dating app for many like me. It's way for me to stay connected to lgbt community. I need to use the mock location to stay safe and access Grindr from cities where I don't face any threat yet I'm able to have dozens of healthy conversations with many people, many of whom have eventually become friends with me.

Please do consider rolling back disablement of using mock location. It's a life saver.

Being able to explore with the aid of Fake GPS.

I paid for my Xtra membership when it was possible to use Grindr on a GPS simulator. It allowed me to let myself be seen in different neighbourhoods in my town while I worked at home. Now it's no longer possible and I feel cheated as a customer.

Make sure to fill all the stats and entries. Empty profiles are bs. User must enter the details, stats, and should be allowed in only after the entries are filled. No point allowing a profile that says only "online now" in a blank screen!

That the field "position" is mandatory but can hide as it is done in "age".

For Grindr to not work / Open when fake gps is open or active on the phone. This will reduce the fake profiles in the area.

To help with incomplete or blank profiles allow an option to only let people see the information in your profile that they also shared. If they don't list a height or weight they can't see yours or if they don't share milage yours isn't shared to them.

You're onto something. People have completely blank profiles then get rude when you ask them the typical questions.
